[SUGGESTION] Edit way point location in Contribution Management

Hi,
wouldn´t it be nice if you could fine tune and edit the location of a nomination in the Contribution Management section?
Just as you can edit the Title and the Description, the location should be editable.

Yes, before it is in voting.
And maybe also if rejected, before appeal.
Similar to @RedJohan-PGO 's initial comment, I submitted a waypoint nomination and found the 'point' of that waypoint moved from where I'd placed it to a place about ten meters south west of it; and, in so doing, off what I'd nominated. Now, the waypoint has been approved (though it has not entered Pokemon Go like I'd hoped) and I cannot find a way to move the point back to the 'correct' (original) location.
Here are the two photos of the location I included in the nomination.

I plonked the icon right smack in the middle of the playground, as represented by the red arrow in the cropped Google Maps image below, but it has been moved to the location indicated by the pink arrow.
I can somewhat understand why, as there are two benches there (ignoring the third on the opposite side of the playground set), but it would have been nice if, as the nominator, I could provide a response as to why I placed the icon where I did before it was accepted as fact.
With Niantic pushing AR mapping through Field Research tasks in-game, it is helpful for the 'trainer' not to have the image on the disc not align with the actual point as per the game.
Is there a way I, as a trainer who often visits this park and already has an AR mapping task related to a waypoint on this park, can move the waypoint back to the nominated and correct location?
You can try submitting a location edit in the Wayfarer help chat or the Edit Appeal section of this forum. I expect they won't move it to another part of the same object, but since the pink arrow isn't on the object at all, you may have a chance.
That only works for live Wayspots. OP is talking about nominations' location edit.
The guidance around locations has been to place them where they wouldn’t interfere with play, for things like basketball courts, they should be at the edge, not in the middle so I can see why this was moved.
For other games, you need to get closer to the Wayspot than you do on Pokémon GO, so where it has been placed makes sense across all games. Maybe the lower right so it was still on the object would also have made sense.
Thank you. I did not understand that, so your response is quite helpful.
With that the case, it means that Niantic's AR mapping tasks are going to be somewhat useless for many waypoints. The range at which you need to circle the actual anchor means the image anchor, in such cases, won't be 'mapped'.
Please excuse me while I now move to sit in my corner and... pout. 😔
Niantic discussed briefly recently about “good scan data” so I guess they’re hoping that someone will scan the whole thing at some point.
It would be nice to be able to edit the location before it goes into voting. Especially in the summer I'll be out and about and my phone is overheating I can't see the screen to save my life, between the sun, and the screen dimming to save itself from cooking.
And the few times I've accidentally misplaced an object because of GPS inaccuracy and maps only showing a forest. Instead of having to withdraw and submit all over again.
