Appealed Nomination been "In Voting" for a while now

Apologies if already been asked/answered elsewhere, I have a few rejected nominations I've appealed and one of these has been "In Voting" (with the Niantic logo next to it) for nearly 2 weeks now. My previous appeals that got to that stage seemed to get resolved within a few days (one successfully and one not) so just wondering if this one being in the "In Voting" stage for so long is normal or has it got stuck?

A few weeks? My appeal has been waiting for months now. I'm actually really upset about it. It took over half a year for the 100% amazing submission to be rejected. The submission was a public village infoboard - within any guidelines you could imagine and the only submission in the whole village on top of that. How can I even begin to describe how upsetting and unjustified the rejection was? And the appeal is ignored. Will probably take another half year...

i think Niantic gave up on working off the Appeals.

Maybe the person(s) were in John Hanke´s List when he looked up who has to go after shutting down several games last month.

They have slowed to a stop for me after the initial surge of getting through the backlog.

I know people with submissions not even in voting from when they first opened. Though the friend of mine who keeps complaining was appealing a Duplication rather than an outright Rejection so I wonder if Niantic just isn't dealing with that?

I didn't make any appeals in Round 1. I have made 3 since they returned the Appeal button. The below are spaced out by about 2 months each as I generally havent been using

1st) Went in voting a couple weeks later. Been in voting for over 3 months

2nd ) Went in voting pretty quickly say about a week. About a week later was accepted.

3rd) Went in voting pretty quickly say about a week. Been in voting for over a week,

There's probably patterns, on going into voting. Those stuck in voting probably are not getting enough Nos to trigger a rejection or enough Yeses to trigger an acceptance. Ultimate Limbo submissions.

A few weeks in the "In Voting" stage. I have other appeals that are still just sat at "Appealed" and have been like that for months that I'm not surprised about. But previously when an appealed nomination has moved to the "In Voting" stage it was either accepted or rejected within 2 or 3 days. I assumed when it got to "In Voting" with the Niantic symbol next to it it meant it was in their pile of nominations to have a look at. But it's been like that for about 2 weeks now so either they're being extra slow or it has got stuck/lost somewhere.

So my nomination that was appealed and had stated "In Voting" with the Niantic logo next to it for nearly 4 weeks has now changed back to what it was before and just states "Appealed". Strange.

I had an appeal from last November that just finally moved to "in voting" and it took maybe a week to finalize (early July 2022, so 8-9 months turn around time).

Ive had other, more recent appeals move through much more quickly.

Side not as it turns out, Niantic is less picky than most of the diehard reviewers who live to reject nominations.

I have one appealed that and entered in voting in less than a week with the approval coming in less then 12 hours. The rest just stays in queue forever and in voting for a month.
