Thanks for the thought. There are maybe 5 people who know who my dog is but it's never intentional. Just more of them wandering into the photo. I even had one approved by a Niantic review with her in the supplemental photo as the main photo was simply a closeup of the POI.
I know one friend who places their vehicle in every possible supplemental photo.
I also know one person who places their trainer name on the title of the submissions. I give those an auto 1* in reviews.
Thanks for the feedback. I updated the contribution. One of my weaknesses is that I'm not the most creative or articulate when it comes to the descriptions. I was thinking of teaming up with someone who would help with descriptions, while I determine the POIs and submit them.
The only remaining question is whether it's already a POI (I know that it's definitely not a pokestop).
Not directed at you but I feel the need to say again that it would be nice to have the reason for rejection so that I don't potentially re-submit a duplicate.
@PDPower101-PGO Drop us the GPS coordinates and one of the Ingress players can check the map. If there's nothing else close to it then you can safely assume it's not, unless it's somewhere that would be a no-go zone for wayspots (which doesn't seem likely given the photos.)
Appeals last reported was at March 2023, so was 6-5 months que imo. The que was more like 8 months a year ago. So in my area I have been nominating for almost 2 years now. I am reaching saturation on what my locals accepts. So I am riding the Appeal tides. Two out of all my Appeals was pointless due to Duplicate methodology. Otherwise my interpretation if the Acceptance criteria is aligned with Niantic. So if your 100% sure that your nomination fits Niantic guidelines Appeal it for the betterment of the Voting system and your community at large.

I don't know if you had it accepted yourself, but it is in the database:
