Reporting Wayspots that should not have been approved

Near me there are Wayspots like generic road signs that should never have been approved. Can I report as Invalid or am I just SOL?
The list of reasons in-game for reporting do not cover situations like this. Would it be better to try and post somewhere on this forum instead? Or just a waste of time?

Wayspots are only removed for very specific reasons, as listed on the report feature. If a wayspot doesn't meet one of those removal reasons, it won't get removed, even if it's a poor quality wayspot.
Mind sharing some pictures of the wayspots that you were hoping to get removed? They won't be removed, but occasionally some signs can be valid as trail markers, even if they look like generic road signage (look at the NCN route markers in the UK as an example).
Niantic have a problem in that the removal criteria are different from the acceptance criteria, and removal criteria are very specific and limited. This actually benefits all the cheats, spoofers and multi account players who submit ineligible waypoints - if one of them does get accepted then it is very very difficult to get it removed.
It's just a game man let it be it's not worth the trouble
