A lake as you describe it can be eligible but it’s going to hinge on your image.
If you take a picture of shore and water, it will be rejected for Natural Feature, whether you call it a lake or a fishing spot.
If there is a sign that names the lake, a pier or platform that facilitates fishing, or signage for trails or other amenities around the lake, those will “anchor” the lake nomination and should pass voting (assuming everything else is suitable). But a body of water that is shared/bordered by multiple houses is not itself PRP.

Hi what’s the deal with community lakes? I live in a neighborhood in Florida where these is a city park with a man made lake in back. Technically the land around the lake is public property and people fish around it all the time. I see lake as an option for a way stop so I submitted it, but then I withdrew it cause I figured it would get denied as private property. So what’s the deal with community lakes?

That’s very helpful, thanks :)
As X0bai said, the lake itself is not valid. Something manmade around the lake can be valid, like a pier, dock, sign, picnic area with permanently attached tables, gazebo, trail sign, etc. This is also the only situation where a bench might be valid - if you pair it with the view it sees.
What about if there’s a fountain?
If you are referring to the sprayer in the middle of the lake, it's not eligible because (1) it's in the middle of the water, so there's no pedestrian access and (2) while some of these sprayers are embellished with lights and such, they are generally considered part of the pond's infrastructure, like a pump or drain would be, as their main purpose is to avoid stagnant water.
