What makes this POI stand out from different Snowcone stands? You have to convince the reviewers that this would be a good Wayspot, a two worded description doesn't help. You have up to 512 characters available, try to give more information. Also, tell the reviewers why it fulfilles acceptance criteria in the supporting information
Of you can find links to articles or reviews about what makes that snow cone stand unique (award winning, special menu items, exceptional popularity, first one in the country, etc.) include them in your supporting information.
yes, is this a unique business chain store or ? u need provide what makes this stand out from all other food store submissions.. needs to be unique or something other special for that town, not just a random eating place. i would also reject this based on the photo.
I agree the photo isn't good, but would you really reject a nomination for that? The purpose of the photo is just to identify the object. A lot of people don't have a good eye for photography. It can be edited later if players find it annoying.
I do agree OP should strive to take pictures without shadow in the future, but the "low quality photo" rejection seems over used, imho.
That photo does not meet any of the photo rejection criteria. It is not pitch black or blurry to the point where the object is unidentifiable, nor appear to be taken from inside a car. The image does not include identifiable people, body parts, or live animals. It does not include any personally identifiable information or objects, watermarks, emojis, or tags. And it is not improperly oriented, doctored, or appear to be copyrighted material. Therefore, rejecting it based on the photo alone is not a proper rejection reason.
Though it certainly leaves room for improvement, the photo is just fine for these purposes and it should definitely not be grounds for rejection. I pride myself on my photography, but I've probably submitted worse because of circumstances (poor phone camera, unfortunate time of day for lighting/shadows, etc.) and those were accepted, as they should have been.
You do realize this is Pokemon go right, it's not that serious it's just a kids game it doesn't have to be museum quality photographs with thousand-year-old architectural uniqueness it's a shaved ice building the children go to after school and all summer.
It's not about Pokemon GO. Wayfarer is about more than just creating Pokestops or gyms. You need to look beyond your Pokemon GO blinders and understand that this is a platform for multiple games and whose primary purpose is to encourage exploration and physical activity.
You do realize this is Wayfarer right, not Pokemon Go? And that it doesn’t take a cutting-edge artistic eye to get a clear image that shows an ice cream stand without a giant shadow blacking out half of it? And it doesn’t take Shakespeare to write *so much as a single sentence* about how this meets criteria?
I'm just shocked there were 2 disagreements on what is only a list of the photo rejection criteria from Niantic. I understand there can be disagreements with interpretation, but that list is very clear.
As with the snow cone stand, "Other Rejection Criteria" means reviewers don't think it is "a great place to explore/exercise/socialize". You need to use your supporting info to show them why it meets one if those criteria.

low quality photo and you put no effort in the description
It's just a generic food stand and nothing in your description suggests that it meets any of the eligibility criteria.
Yes, those look like the rejection reasons that I would use as well.

Because it was a zero effort nomination?

I see the term low quality photo as a technical thing. If it's so blurry, dark, distant that leaves me with no clue what the wayspot is.
I think some people view it more on an aesthetic level though and see it in terms of angles, placement etc

At least it's not a residential farm

The best part is this is a hang out for kids, it gets rejected, but I submitted a bar with my truck Infront of it and 2 day approval.
There’s more Niantic games than just Pokémon GO, one of which it says children may not play. 🤷
What criteria are you saying this meets?
You do realize @TheFarix-PGO is saying your photo is fine at least in terms of picture quality.

I think they were more upset about my comments on the lack of eligibility of the snowcone stand.

Or, no… maybe you don’t realize that.

Or maybe you can just look if you have to be spoon feed what it is you don't need to be voting
Why are you posting this if you are not willing to accept feedback?
