I just found some awesome supporting text.
I just got something to review that I was having trouble confirming the location of. My typical workflow means that I typically read the supporting text last, and sometimes I go back and change my original assessments as I learn new information.
This particular review looked like something cool, but wasn't sure of the location until I read the supporting text:
Pedestrian man-made tunnel with large waterfall feature. For Google Maps verification location, use satellite view or view from [street name redacted] street view. The default photosphere is on top of the waterfall and tunnel and can't been seen from that vantage point.
This was awesome because the submitter had clearly done their homework to understand what reviewers would see, and they used that knowledge to write text that directly helpful to reviewers. One of the things I try to teach new submitters is that they should evaluate their submissions from the perspective of a reviewer and then make it easy for reviewers to understand and accept the candidate. I award an A+ and a gold star to the submitter on this one.

Was this at a golf course(?) in Hawaii? I think I saw the same one about a week ago. Agreed, the supporting info was helpful.
Yeah, a golf course and/or subdivision or maybe a combo of the two, in Hawaii.
Somewhat related to this topic, I miss the map on the contributions page being interactive. It was helpful to drag the peg man directly onto the pin to get a sense of what reviewers would be shown. We can still check street view ourselves outside of Wayfarer, but it's more approximate, especially for nominations in parks or that otherwise aren't near roads or buildings.
@Melurra-PGO there is a plugin script available to bring back the interactive map.
