Question on rejected nomination

Dear all,
In our neighbourhood, there is a nice fishing dock (visplaats) with some benches where people come to relax, and sometimes to fish. I've tried to nominate the dock, as the guidelines mention that fishing docks are eligible, as long as there is a sign, en a pedestrian access.
However, the nomination has been rejected 2 times on the following basis:
-seasonal display
-not reflecting real world location
-photo is low quality
-no pedestrian access
-flagged for abuse, ridicule, trolling or harassment
-generic store or restaurant
It is quite frustrating that a nice place to come together for playing Niantic games, as well as being eligible according to Niantic, is being rejected due to false reasons.
Does anyone have tips? Am I doing something wrong in the process? Thanks in advance you for your feedback!

There's nothing really there for anybody to deem anything notable enough to be eligible.
You have a footpath, some benches and a fence/rail. None of those are eligible on their own.
There's a sign, but it is a generic sign indicating that no dogs are allowed there, wheelchair access is available and 'Visplaats' which translates (according to Google) as 'Fishing place'. The area it is referring to isn't even named, making it generic. Together with the sign, which is also generic, nothing there is notable or significant or meets any criteria.
A wayspot should be a point of interest, there is nothing interesting there.

Agreed to your point. I nominated it as according to Niantic, Fishing docks are eligible. Taking your answer into account, it's hard to determine if this would be eligible for a fishing spot.
That doesn't really look like what I'd call a "dock" but that might be a regional/local interpretation of what a dock is.
Ignore... hit send by mistake with no comment in it. Not sure how to delete it
I have had fishing access areas approved, but your sign is killing you I think. It is filthy and generic looking. You might want to just pass on this for now, unless you want to try to do something about the sign (clean it?). Even then it looks generic and hard to get past picky reviewers.
