Nomination accepted but...

Hi everyone, i wanted to know. Niantic has accepted a nomination that i made last week. And i got the email saying it was accepted... And they say it will take upto 48h for it to show. Its been around a week & the stop is not added on the game. How does all this process work ?

I’m wondering the same thing 2 of mine were accepted and I have been going on walks daily since and they are still not in game so I was wondering the same!

Although the impression you are given when you submit something is that you are submitting to be a pokestop the reality is that you are submitting something with the potential to be a pokestop.
You passed the first step of getting it approved congrats on that.
Once your nomination is approved, it is accepted into the Lightship database - this holds all approved wayspots and is separate from all Niantic games. That is the end point of wayfarer, and what happens next is not related to wayfarer.
Each game sets its own rules as to what it will take from the database to use in that particular game.
If you post the coordinates In sure someone will be able to check to see if your wayspot will appear.
Unfortunately explaining how the rules work will most likely cause the thread to be closed.
If you search for the Pokémon go along with the 19th letter of the English alphabet and the whole number between 1 and 3 you can find out how to check for yourself if you like.

Please do post the co-ordinates and title and we will try to help. If you understand what has happened in this instance it will help prevent frustration in the future.

I havethe same problem...2 portals nominated and Accepted, and didnt shown within last 4 days...but week ago when I ve nominate wayspot, comunity approved it and it appeared correctly (about 48 hours).
So, where is problem again?
As an Ingress player yours may be related to this.
