Football field rejected for being a natural feature and mismatched locatio. How can I improve?
This was rejected for natural feature and mismatched location......
Natural Feature?? WT... It is a photo of a football goal
The only thing I could come up with for mistmatched location is that I did not place the POI in the middle of the playing field. As I placed the POI behind the GoalPosts. As per Niantic instructions to not intefer with play of a game. And in the google aerial view you can see the placement at the end of the football field.
With the supporting photo I could retake to show more of playing field rather than park. But there was a football match taking place. So I tried a photo with few people in it.....?

I wonder if Niantic is playing around with review bots and you triggered them with "natural features" in the description 🤔 (Kidding, but also wouldn't be surprised.)
@JillJilyJabadoo-PGO Huh. Well Sun is shining. Let me go try again ;-)
Is there another pitch next to or nearby since it's name pitch #2?
If not I would try to take a wider shot of the posts and net to give reviewers more an idea of the scale.
Unfortunately there is a common mentality amongst reviewers that the onus is 100% on the submitter for a wayspots inclusion. I would personally say it's 50/50, I mean it's obvious your posts and net are solid and part of a full size pitch. You sometimes have to walk them by the hand through your submission though and not give any opportunity for a rejection though.
You may have to do a 360 photo too.
We can’t see your pin location, so can’t give informed feedback on that rejection reason.
The park does not have the goals up on the Google Maps image. While zooming in does show the pitches marked off, it also looks like a big, open lawn, which is where you’re getting the Natural Feature rejection reason, I think. Be prepared for temporary/seasonal for the same reason. Photosphere showing all the goals up all over the park might help.
Thanks The26thDoctor-PGO your photo is good. I tried again. Before I saw your post. I like the photo example. I will let you know.
No worries, good luck. I definitely think a 360° will see it through.
If you use a straight-on view like that photo provided by The26thDoctor, it should generally be a slam dunk approval.
Was this football field only rejected for natural feature and mismatched location? (you can check for other reject reasons be refreshing the page since it only shows two at a time... also because my reject reason does not appear there).
The second attempt of these football fields is currently in Wayfarer. The title is kind of sad. With a fullstop at the end! (are fullstops at the end of titles a new trend?)
"Football pitch. Playing field number 2 Queens Park Lower Playing Fields."
Call it Queens Park Lower Playing Field 2 and it will appease the grammar Nazí Goreng in me.
