Rejected Pokestops

I have asked for a pokestop at Tesco's as it's got a restaurant and comics. A great place to be social with friends as mention in the criteria.
Why do people reject this, don't you want to pick up some balls and present while your out shopping/eating?
If Pokémon go is just for nature walks then most of the gyms and stops should be removed from the cities and the game will die.
In Indonesia every indomart is a pokestop.

I am quite sure that Tesco is not eligible, business chains rarely are unless they are sponsored like many gas stations here.
You might be better off nominating some art or something inside, not Tesco itself.
I had my first 5+ nominations rejected but learned a lot at this forum. Then, I had two stops approved right after eachother.
You are correct that it seems silly to not want to have more stops and gyms in Go.
Wayfarer is not solely concerned with Go though as it's a separate entity from Go, Ingress etc.
I'm sure you can find more stuff to nominate like @CissiNyblom-PGO said though.
Chains CAN be a good wayspot nomination provided they are the center of activities or really popular.

Sure. The trickiest bit is convincing reviewers not Casey though.
If you post your nomination people might be willing to help you out.
I would have the link to Casey's post in the reviewer comment section on nominations such as these cause some reviewers don't visit the forums much. Links to AMA containing this issue can help too.
Does your proposed stop meet both the Niantic criteria and not trigger any of the rejection criteria?
Tescos is never going to pass - chain supermarket. Find something else to nominate.
Indomaret being Pokestops here is a part of sponsorship with Niantic, just like Starbucks. Unless you can show at least one Indomaret Pokestop that were made by any players.
P.S.: not all Indomaret here in Indonesia turned into sponsor Pokestops, just saying.
