Improvement but still in the queue

I used an improvement in a stop I submitted about a week ago.
What is strange this time is that after 3 days of using this improvement, the POI os still in the queue. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes, it's normal. The upgrade only speeds up the "in voting" stage.
Yeah this happens sometimes. It depends upon you place where there might be too many nominations waiting the queue. Once it enters the voting stage it will be quicker. My nominations that I had upgraded got accepted with in 48hrs. So it depends on the place, number of nominations and the number of reviewers.
This just isn't true. Where I live, Upgrades shave MONTHS off the time In Queue - and months again off the In Voting stage.
