I have a nomination from 2020, and a couple from 2021. I think these are stuck "in voting",

is there anyway to get in contact with someone from niantic to get it going again?

not stuck, nomination can take more than 2 years.

Not stuck. Just slow review times for your area.

You can try Upgrading them to get a decision.

I have one in queue since 2021-10-02. Niantic's queueing algorithm is broken, but they don't care. It's been broken for five years.

This, plus lack of communication, and other things... It feels like they want to get rid of long-time contributors.

They are trying to clear the backlog in areas with these long times.

They are done in date order. They are currently up to 22 June 2020 so you have several months go. They are taken into Niantic voting and resolve quickly.

Thanks everyone, it's pretty frustrating, slightly understandable, but annoying.

I've had a few get accepted in a few weeks... ( in the downtown core ).

I don't think it's the queueing system being broken so much as it is having way more submissions than they have review capacity.
