I have resubmitted with a new photo, changed description but still no! All postboxes I’ve seen are pokestops so really confused 🫤

Some people will only accept some from certain eras, some don't accept any at all.
What did your submission pic look like?
It's probably an E2R, not eligible. At least it's the weekend so this wont get closed for a few days.
There are very few postboxes on the planet that are eligible to be wayspots. I suggest that you review the criteria.
Just because you see something as a Wayspot, doesn’t mean all other things like it are eligible.
Hello @Blue197379-PGO
and welcome to this forum.
To give you a more specific answer it would be helpful to see the submission especially the photo and where it is.
Best guesses as to what has happened-
The feedback you get as to why something is rejected is very crude. Niantic is not good at communication.
The computer programme tries to select 2 or 3 reasons as to why it was rejected. It is highly likely that you have the “other rejection criteria” phrase. Although this makes it look like what follows are the rejection reasons actually this is what it says when it is deemed that it does not meet the criteria to be be a wayspot. The other reasons could be misclicking etc by reviewers. This lack of a proper explanation is frustrating.
Although you are quite right when you say you have seen postboxes in the games, and yes to many in the U.K. postboxes can be of special significance, the picture is not a simple one and you probably hadn’t noticed that those that are in the game are not ones with the Cipher of Queen Elizabeth II. Those with ERII on them are considered too common and of low historic value. Although she has recently died this remains the same. My best guess is that it is this type you have submitted and as such it won’t get get accepted.
I’m sure you will feel very annoyed at the situation, but this the system we work with. If you had been given access to better information and reasons you might not have wasted your time.
If you are keen to carry on and try and find things that are more likely to be accepted then try posting potential submissions in the nomination forum and we can provide feedback. There are lots of potential spots out there and you need to “sell” them to reviewers.
Let's see your nomination, although I suspect @Belahzur-ING has hit the nail on the head.
