Hey @ph4mien-ING, the Wayspot is accepted into Niantic’s Wayspot database but ineligible to join the in-game location network as it is in close proximity to already existing in-game locations.
Best,
There was a sync error to Ingress in August last year, not sure if it happened for a longer duration. You can force sync with those by getting a new photo accepted to it.
If you don't want to or can't do that, the team that should be able to fix this is the Ingress team, not the Wayfarer one.
Could you expand on this please?
What is the proximity rule for things appearing or not appearing in game for Ingress?
What is the proximity rule for things appearing or not appearing in Pokémon Go?
Do they use the same rules?

Oh come on, you know Thia actually made that information public and acknowledged the 20 metre rule for Ingress on the Ingress forum.
I'm sure they'll have posted similar info on the Pokémon Go forum about its proximity rules as well, as you know Niantic is very forthcoming with this info after all. @PkmnTrainerJ-ING likely has the relevant link ;)
I don’t think I have this one bookmarked unlike the Pokémon GO forums, but I’ll see if I can find it.
Ah, here it is.
@NianticOren
i’m interested in understanding this.
The wayspot when you look at Ingress and the app screenshot posted in September does appear to indicate that given the proximity data given by NianticThia the wayspot should have been expected to appear. It lies outside all of the 20m circles.
However I have taken a screenshot now from the app (2nd picture) and there is now provisional way spot close to it. This wayspot is only provisional.
Are you saying that something that is not a fully agreed wayspot (I presume that is what provisional means) is now blocking an agreed wayspot even although it has not been approved and came along after a problem occurred with the original?
If this post had been promptly responded to at the time of posting would it have appeared.
Presumably if the provisional one was ever approved it wouldn’t appear as it would be too close.
This all seems a mess.
