    you cant it warns you before you place it that Hometown Location is a place of your choice that influences which Wayspot nominations and edits are assigned to you. This could be a place where you grew up, went to school, or any location with which you’re familiar. Once set, this cannot be changed!

    If you have problem with the GPS, why not report it in Report a Bug section?

    But yes, you need to recheck your hometown location before you set it, it cannot be changed even if you have problem with the GPS.
