Campground bathrooms
I spend a lot of time camping in Corp of Engineers campgrounds. In many cases there are no structures or other possible POI except the public restrooms on the camping loop. I don't think that nominating individual campsites would be appropriate. These structures should be allowed, since public restrooms is a POI category. I have had two of my nominations rejected, although these are historic buildings.

The "what is it?" list of categories is not an eligibility list. A restroom is not a great place to exercise, explore or be social.
Well, the category ist for "What is it?" is not a list of acceptable things, just a list of possible things that might be seen by reviewers. For public restrooms, are they a great place to explore, exercise, or be social? What description did you use, and did you point out why they are "historic buildings" which are worthy of exploration?
I walk a lot of trails and remote sites, and as much as I appreciate available conveniences, I don't consider them worthy of nomination: they don't aid in my exploration, I don't hang out and exercise there, and I actually go out of my way to avoid social contact at places like that. If the actual building architecture was notably historical or unusual, though, I'd be happy to see those spots on the map.
No signboard for the camp ground? No information board? Most around my area have those 2 items.
Picnic tables? Boat launch?
Maybe some inspiration for you...
Ok, thanks.
I have checked and there aren't other POI on the camping loop. The restrooms are evenly spaced around the loop, and would allow players walking the loop to enjoy the experience. The entrance sign is almost a mile away.
Sometimes a place just doesn't have anything wayspot worthy. Also, plenty of places I gave up on... I came back a year or two later, and they'd added lots of signs and art and stuff. The place is much wayspotted with the later stuff, than junking it up when there wasn't anything.
