"In Voting" by Niantic on a 2-days old submission

A few days ago, I submitted two new possible Wayspot.
This morning, I saw that both went into voting, but one went in voting by Niantic, without appealing or anything.
While a few other nomination I made months ago and submitted an appeal are still waiting to be reviewed by Niantic.
Am I missing something? 🤔
This never happened to me before, it's been a couple of months since I submitted something in that area but this is new to me.

Niantic randomly reviews nominations themselves. I heard they have to, due to a court ruling. It's not common, but I had it happen as well last week. Approximately 24 hours after I submitted it, it was in Niantic voting
Didn't know that, never happened to me in 100+ submits...
Well, I hope it was one of my nomination that were appealed back in Feb/March 2022 but someday those will go under review too.
Usually when I submit a new Wayspot it usually takes 3/4 days at the best to go under review, this time 48h and without any upgrade.

I think it's only the second time in around 400 nominations, so definitely not that common
