Two rejections - Just bad luck?
Hi,
I submitted a nomination for playground which consists of ground activities (counting games such as 1-20 snake and Hopscotch.
1st attempt was rejected due to mismatched location. So attempt two I did a photosphere and it gets rejected as a school 🤦
Supporting evidence shows its accessible at all times and as far as I can see meets with acceptable criteria (play learning etc)
Shall I try again?
Thanks

On this face of it this looks good.
I have had several of these approved.
Can you give co ordinates please so we can look further and what text is in supplementary
I agree. Looks good to me, but I'd need to see the surrounding area to guess at why they were choosing school. That could be a random choice, though. You shouldn't be getting "Other Rejection Criteria", imho.
"Other Rejection Criteria" means reviewers think it didn't meet any of the 3 criteria: Explore, Exercise, Socialize.
What's on the other side of that wall? Is this a walking path?
How could you possibly already have a 2022-10-22 nomination back? That blows my mind!
The submitter is in Wales and I regularly review Welsh submissions. Most of Wales will qualify as very rural so have a very quick turn round.
The path at the rear of houses is typical and this seems a good use of a little space to create a place to play - not all play areas are necessarily fenced off.
@Underaglassbell-PGO actual location please as this should be fine.
Afternoon,
I didn't get notification my post had been placed (under review) or your messages
The photosphere is here:
https://www.google.com/maps/@52.5123735,-3.3067838,3a,75y,60h,90t/data=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1sAF1QipO5K4ebIl2i2WnQF6pONhOtht0xz8dushhRWy5P!2e10
It's next to a public path (both sides of the wall and yeah as best I could see doesn't interfere or cause any issues as it's accessible at all hours.

ok this won’t work.
The snake is already a stop and you can see it in your photo.
it is acting as the wayspot for all of these activities - it is considered one point of interest. Think of it like a football pitch you submit one point and that represents the whole pitch, so you can’t have separate points for each goal. This is one defined play area.
So don’t bother to resubmit (the rejection reasons are nonsense), I suspect a lot selected duplicate as well and there is a bug that even if duplicate is selected it doesn’t give it as a reject reason. Look and see if rocket has been added as a second photo to the snake.
Have a look around for something else.
Good Luck
if its not on the grounds of a school it should be fine. the title is a reference to pokemon so that might be the problem
Thanks for the reply - I do have to say that I disagree.
It is the opposite side of the Snake, or in this place the playground.
It's not the same game / activity so in my opinion is therefore a different playground set.
I understand if the snake were called "X Playground" and then the Rocket was submitted it could result in a duplication but that's not the case here.
I suspect having read dman41689-PGOs response perhaps it's more to do with the title, which was meant to be a fun nod to the cry originating from the Pokemon anime given the chosen subject.

No problem with disagreeing, and you can try again. I agree they are different things, but swings and a slide in that sort of space would not be approved as separate.
Be prepared it might be rejected and have a look for something else in that L14 cell there is likely to be other stronger candidates. Any nice walking trails with markers? Happy to help improve other nominations.
If it keeps being rejected please consider not resubmitting as many nearby areas have wait times of over 2 years to resolve and it would help keep the queues for others down on the every little bit helps.
Good Luck
I think your title is fine honestly. It's oblique enough to not put people off I'd hope.
Like @Elijustrying-ING I think reviewers are seeing it as part of the already existing games even if they are choosing reasons other than duplicate.
