Bad POI and reviewer rating

Hi everyone,

I recently had several pokestops in my area get approved that I had the chance to vote on. Two examples in particular were very obvious 1*'s. Specifically a park that was created as an expanded K-5 school playground and is still considered on the grounds of that school (and the sign on the fence in the POI photo includes that this is a K-5 playground) as well as another stop for a pedestrian bridge that does not exist where the photo used is identical in every way for 2 existing POI.

I have reported these approved POI after the fact as well, but does my disagreement on these very obvious bad submissions negatively impact my reviewer rating? If so, is there any course of action I can take since my local community seems to be ignoring the POI criteria in their voting?

Niantic won't say what goes into our ratings. They have said it's NOT a ration accept/reject.

I'd speculate that if 100 people gave 5*, and you gave 1*, it could hurt your rating. But if 49 people gave 1* and 51 people gave 5*, it probably wouldn't hurt your rating. Where is the line between them? We don't know. But we do know that other things count, like how carefully you review on average. Every website tracks your intereaction with it - including the Wayfarer review page.
