Delete Pikmin Bloom Account, I lost stats...

Dear @NianticGiffard @NianticLC ,
I requested to delete Pikmin Bloom Account (because I don't use this game), and:
1. my stats are resetted (I have about 93k of reviews...)
2. in the nominations list, there are not all sent nominations...(sent by Ingress and Pokémon Go Account)
3. Wayfarer medal on Pokémon Go, it has been resetted...?!?!
Noting that the Pikmin Bloom account is not usable for Wayfarer and this is written on Pikmin Bloom Site,too...
Why the delete of Pikmin Bloom Account has effect on Stats Wayfarer, Nominations list and Medals of Pokémon Go?
Yes, deleting your account from any Niantic game also deletes your Wayfarer account. It's nonsensical!

Excluding the stats and medals...
I would like to know what happened to the nominations sent, and that they were pending or in voting...
I think someone in your situation said their outstanding nominations went on thru - and they received accepted / not accepted emails.
The funny scenario is: today I reviewed some my nominations that there are not in nominations list
Actually in the nominations list there is only a part of all sent nominations...
Personally the stats are secondary...to know that I will receive the outcome of nominations "into limbo", it is reassuring...
@NianticLC @NianticAaron @NianticTintino-ING It would help if Niantic acknowledge the problem of reset and something was done about it.
It is really demoralising.
Yeah, so all edits, nominations, appeals, etc, will still find their way slowly through the system naturally. No upgrades can be applied of course... so all that is lost is any way to track the nominations since you will not receive emails about them, you'll only know they were decided on when they become live on the map. You likely will not have your username credited on the photos either.
Your stats, agreements, and any in-game medals will be wiped, but thats "all"... thankfully? Still incredibly stupid that this problem even exists.
Since July 2020 they have refused or are unable to fix it. I think what's worse is the fact it is still happening and the lack of communication or explanation that it can't/won't be fixed.
I personally gave up reviewing and submitting but unfortunately for us we are probably in a very small minority who have had their accounts reset so can be ignored and forgotten about :/
This is working as intended. Your stats will be reset if your game account in any Niantic app is deleted on user request.
Thanks at least for replying. I did ask about 2 months ago and @TrevorAlan-PGO has been waiting for a reply a lot longer. Not just on here but through support and various other channels too who pass you on to someone else or completely ignored your questions.
Aside from the lack of replies it's absurd that someone's Wayfarer account is reset through the deletion of a Niantic game.
To say it's working as intended is also ridiculous.
Did Niantic actually intend for accounts to be reset or was it a 'feature' that you didn't foresee and are now lying by saying it as working as intended?
Either way it makes your company look even worse than it already is, if that is actually possible.

There are only a part of sent nominations, because if the Wayfarer Account has been resetted I was waiting an empty list...
Can you give me feedback about sent nominations that they were in queue and in voting?
Wayfarers help shape future adventure, can you added the warning message when future players will ask to delete unused account in Niantic App, please?

So far there are two possibilities of what would happen at Wayfarer account if someone request game account deletion: stat reset or suspended from Wayfarer. Can you please clarify that suspended from Wayfarer possibility is also 'working as intended', or is it fixed already? @NianticAaron
Is this basically a direct consequence of linking all games/accounts together through Niantic social and it was inadvertently f*cked up as usual and now you don't know how or are indifferent to fixing it?

Wait, so you designed the system so that if a game account that has nothing to do with wayfarer, and has no wayfarer eligibility or functions in the first place, is deleted because of privacy concerns or lack of use etc etc...
It wipes and resets your wayfarer profile to brand new? How is that an intended "feature"?!?!

Meanwhile I was talking with @NianticGiffard and @NianticTintino-ING back in April when my profile reset and it was their statement that this is NOT intended or a feature. of course they stopped talking shortly after...

I don't know why you are getting downvotes, you are essentially correct. I have 5 game accounts linked to one email and I would be furious if I would loose my stats because one game decides to **** me over. Also, I enjoyed the sarcasm
It was because I get paranoid about the potential for this sort of stupidity that I keep everything separate. Someone in here commented in the past that I had something to hide by not wanting my different games linked. Nope, I know how incompetent Niantic can be in relationship to “customer care”, and I like as far as possible to reduce risk.
Can we confident about what happens if Niantic closes down a game?
This is a bit disappointing, among other things.
Now, the only way to delete a specific game account without affecting other games, including keeping Wayfarer stats, is to use a non-Google login tool, change the Google account to something else, and then delete it.
On the other hand, it is not possible to merge those created with different Google accounts.
In my case, I signed in with a different account for Pokémon Go because I was unsure if I liked to continue, and Pikmin was signed up with a Nintendo account first, so they all remain different.
This may hinder our future interactions at the campfire application.
To resolve these issues, we need to integrate Google accounts by incorporating two-step verification by SMS, along with promoting login and sign-up by Niantic ID as well as Google accounts.
Also, the system needs to be restructured to warn people when deleting accounts for certain games or to prevent them from being affected.
Seriously.???? Who in their right mind thought that someone willingly deleting sn account would delete their wayfarer stats, especially an account on a game that's not linked to and probably will never be linked to wayfarer?

If you made an edit after rposting, ive noticed that virtually all edits need to go for review nowadays. Literally I made an edit as one word had autocorrected to make the sentence confusing, changed that word and it was up for mod review for the whole weekend
It wasn't an edit. I just replied to a couple of comments, hit the post button and it got sent for review immediately. Not even any pictures or anything either.
Strangely, most of my comment edits don't get reviewed haha.
Well they shut down Harry Potter and nothing bad happened there...
Sorry, but I don't accept that. We've seen Niantic staff post on this forum in the past that this is not intended and that a resolution for this issue would be looked into. It is quite frankly ridiculous that this still hasn't been resolved after so long and that you're now trying to pass it off as intentional when it clearly should not be happening.
I don't know what the team is working on (if there is even a team left after all the recent staff redundancies at Niantic), but fixing this very much unintentional issue should be towards the top of the priority list given how long the issue has been going on and what the effect of it is.
They also moderate when you quote…..
It was Wizards Unite I was thinking of. They haven’t done anything…..yet. I presume the data is mothballed somewhere but what if someone starts tinkering or deletes it to create space how do we know it won’t create a link that says deleted account?
Niantic’s motto seems to be if we can make something seemingly nonsensical go wrong, we will.
Someone in the Discussion Discord mentioned Wizards Unite still has access to their Google account, even though it has been taken offline more than half a year ago
Mine was until I revoked access in the Google account settings.
Totally resetting the Wayfarer status of someone who deletes a linked account only encourages people to separate their accounts into different emails for each game. This, in turn, leads to Wayfarers potentially submitting and reviewing on multiple accounts, and potentially reviewing their own submissions on a regular basis. It's totally legitimate, unlike multi-accounting in a single game, but it still seems like something Niantic should strive to avoid.
Probably meaningless info to most however... :D
