It would be nice to believe that Niantic released something after extensive testing that may only need minor tweaks and a few bugs ironed out that can be quickly fixed from user reports.
Track record tells me that Niantic releases quite often create more problems or have knock on effects that can't be fixed or fixed quickly enough and then escalate to a point beyond redemption and take more time and effort than they are willing to invest.
I did work out if you take away the www. Then it let's you post the link, so I was doing that with my submissions, it seems weird to not allow them properly though
It's just a game whether that's Ingress, Go or Wayfarer. If you want attribute evilness to an individual over a game that's your call. I have no interest in that.
It isn't automated, I know a few people who have had rejections, some made sense, some were for "safe access" which there was, but we suspect they were near a school (whe I say near, like, opposite side if the road)
Most of the Wayfinders who frequent this forum and actively discuss are probably good people.
The problem is the Wayfinders who do not frequent this forum but are on social networking sites and closed chats.
A good percentage of them only want items on the game rather than the significance of Wayfarer.
To them, this stuff is just a subterfuge to the game.
If abused by such people, this world will be broken.
And it is not only Ingress, which I mainly play, but that is also broken.
It destroys the environment for players who make Pokémon GO more than just a smartphone game, but a wonderful experience in the real world through Pokémon GO and POI.
After those great Pokémon players abandon Pokémon GO, all that will be left is a "buggy, poorly made Pokémon game" and evil players who are already far removed from Niantic's philosophy.
Finally, to use a fable as an example, the only thing that remained in Pandora's Box after all the various disasters was hope.
But in this case, the only thing that will remain is what we can call abuse or despair.
A stupid question but did anyone got a confirmation email for requestion edit via the app?
If it does, I do remember that I unmark that 'receive any promotional messages from Niantic Wayfarer' during signup..., if this is the reason I don't get any email then how to turn it on again?
Had one approved in just over 3 hours. My brain has exploded ....

Trying to add pois that fit into both games and the highest quality first. But as it's always resetting to your location I have started going with the closest pois.
Got a terrific mural in town approved, an artwork, a gardening club sign, a cricket pitch that was rejected earlier this year by reviewers, and trail marker. Currently in the system. a basketball court, 2 more artworks, and a soccer field in the system. I have so many more things to add .... yet slowly slowly.
Wish I could see all the outstanding nominations submitted via the games in the area. Would like to be able to say yes that is a great poi. .... hope I don't fast track something that someone else has been waiting for ages.
The speed is very very good .... super delighted by getting some pois that I have had on my list for years in such quick time. Thanks Niantic Wayfarer Team!!!!!!

I got an ice cream shop/restaurant through the app in another state. I did nominated it when I was living there. I wrote a pretty good description and support info, it was build in the 70's, has an amazing beach view and a lot of turists go there for it's ice cream buffet but reviewers here in my country don't approve this kinda of thing because reasons... I did appeal but I feel they didn't bother reading what I wrote maybe because it wasn't in english. I even linked an article from a local magazine but they said I had to give better reasons. Like I didn't gave it? tf it's not my fault you can't speak my language. End of rant.
It was approved and it's legit my first restaurant/caffe. I am so happy with this.

There is no fable in which an evil player who is cheating becomes a saint only when submitting a POI.
And if such a fable were real, we would not be able to account for abused cities.

I have at least one that was approved but did not appear in Ingress or PokémonGo but is in Lightship.

because of the layout it wasn’t immediately obvious that there was an issue until I scrolled down an saw the word BAD in red letters.
I do miss not getting a key and my portals found increasing.
I also miss being able to have them in my contributions page on wayfarer. It is reminding me how useful that page is 😂

Spoofing or multi accounting neither interest or bother me.
If Niantic want to fix them they could and would.
I'm now at 10 accepted nominations within 5 days, only one took more than a day. Some less than 12 hours.
Before my account reset I would have to wait more than 18 months for something to go through.
I think it's broken so I'm done but make hay while the sun shines :)
I submitted one at 1am and it was approved by 9:30…..total game changer.
I will **** things in as I don’t want to flood.

I received an email for approval. I submitted a couple of picture edits too but they either haven't gone through or they don't contact about those.

Now, I have a huge amount of photos that still needs to get approved for some of my favorite POIs.
I'll try to take few pics later on and I'm curious to see how long it takes to get accepted.
I do hope it is gonna be quicker because it's unreal to wait 2+ years for a single pic to appear

@patsufredo-PGO I just recieve emails for approved/rejected wayspots. I think we only will get emails with the results for now.
I guess edits will go through usual queue rather than directly reviewed by Niantic then...
