@Elijustrying-ING Regarding your wayspot that didn't appear in Ingress - there is one scenario where it would appear in PoGo but not Ingress, and that is if the wayspot is the only one in its lvl 17 cell, and it is within the 20 m rule of another wayspot that is in a different lvl 17 cell. Then it would appear in PoGo but not Ingress.
PoGo no longer has a 20 m rule and only the S2 cell rules. Ingress has the 20 m rule but no S2 cell rules.
So far I'm only submitting stuff if it gets rejected by regular reviewers, which isn't much, but I did recently have a trail marker in a village rejected for orientation of all things, even though the photo was perfectly fine (I think the reviewers who rejected it for that should've gone to Specsavers personally haha). Two days after the incorrect rejection, it was accepted on the Wayfarer app and is now in both Ingress and Pokémon Go.
I am using it for that now, things that really should be in but reviewers in the UK (most present company not withstanding) either don't like or there's just enough wrong to reject, but that niantic usually accept on appeal. I'll maybe also use it in areas that are slow movers, for example Glasgow City center seems to be pushing towards 8 to 12 months wait time now
I’ve put in several NCN trail markers that would have been problematic if upgraded and would otherwise take over 2 years. POI that are in a faster area where it takes 4 -6 weeks I am submitting via normal wayfarer.
I’ve done 3 position edits both have irritated for quite sometime - not big moves but I didn’t want to add to the clogging. 1 is further(about 100m) which for some bizarre reason was in middle of a field with empty cells around.
I’ve submitted one photo that is an interesting night picture of a local church - let’s see if they like pictures like that.
I know how those rules work (since that change I’ve successfully submitted several in this scenario) and this doesn’t conflict as it’s approx 80m to nearest Ingress portal - far end of an adjoining L17 cell.
If that thread is treated the same way that newcomers are in these forums, you will be yelled at because you're not a developer, you're abusing an app aimed at Lightship developers, and you're proposing an additional wayspot to Lightship, not a "portal" or a "pokestop"
If that appears in your prefered game or not it's up to the developers of each game.
One that was supposes to sync in last night appeared early hours of this morning (like before 7am, dunno exactly when though). I've had a few things accepted today thatbare supposed to appear today, I'll see if they appeared later on when I ge the chance
IITC is an overlay for the Intel map, and there have been cases where the data between the Intel map and the Intel App have been different due to changes and sync issues, so it's better to always check in both places.

Hopes that makes sense.
Even with the possible sync problems it's too tempting not to fill out the rest of here which I think is worthy of a few more poi.

That makes 3 of us 😂

The only slight issue is I've not had anything back since Wednesday, I'm wondering if they've paused the checks lol

We just need to see if it appears in next Pokémon Go sync I guess.
Is sync off in Ingress due to the anomaly perhaps?
That's why I'd questioned it before, looks like edits go through the usual queue rather than being reviewed directly by Niantic.
...or is there anyone here whose edits via app already been accepted then it went live in the map?
Ain't that being reported in this forum too?
Just amazed that Lightship team responded to that issue pretty quick, unlike here.
@PkmnTrainerJ-ING 2 others approved at a similar time (one was definitely after the ghost one) did appear in ingress with ingress sync last night.
Ah, that sh00ts down that theory then.
Mine was provisional too. This morning Niantic emailed me saying has been accepted.
I am waiting for the sync to see if it will actually appear in IITC/Ingress and when in PoGO.

Does that ring a bell to anyone around here?
Pokémon sync happened early tonight but only those wayspots that should have come yesterday none that were approved by this morning.
Anyone have wayspots that were approved in last 24 hours sync
Last for me was 03:28 on the 10th and showing on IITC
The pond from the 8th that was approved has not appeared.
I have put in an edit for *Giantt* :D
So thats a lot line my ghost one. It must be something to do with the VPSactivated part 🤷♀️

Cam confirm, pokestops synced in, someone drove byband said they were there at half 7pm uk time, including a new gym (yay)
IITC scrapes data from the Ingress Intel map. If something is not on Ingress, there is no point in also checking IITC.
.... my one was about pokemon go not syncing? So iitc was worth checking.....
I didn't know that!
Anyway it has appeared only today.. and not at the usual sync

For the one move I did, I received no email to confirm the edit.
The edit hasn't happened either despite doing it early during the week.
