Can the "no more to review" feature be retired?

This may only affect a small number of folks, but for those of us who encounter it, it's very frustrating to hit this after a long stretch of reviewing.
We know that there are areas that have extensive backlogs and nominations that have been in queue or in voting for years now.
Can a new system be devised that allows reviewers to keep plugging away even when they're caught up on their local/home/bonus area review queues?

Absolutely agree. The inverse is true for me. It might be a very short stretch of reviewing, a handful before I'm told that I'm at the end of queue.
I just want to review. There are many backlogged areas that would benefit from going beyond this limitation and just reviewing to my heart's content.
As someone who also frequently gets these messages, I also agree. It's definitely ridiculous considering how backlogged the system is in general, and in specific areas in particular.
One option is to keep ithe message but add a button: "Expand my search". Then people who don't want to look at faraway nominations can decide if maybe they do wanna today.
