What would make this community forum better?

There are several posts referring to the toxic nature of this community. That makes me concerned, I don’t really want to be associated with that perception.
I wondered if the hesitancy to engage and respond by various Niantic staff was because it feels daunting. Like walking into the lions den.
The community want you to engage, so how do we change things together?

Better moderation, especially around a users first few posts.
The emails suggest coming here if you get something accepted/rejected but then it’s not clear where to go.
A welcome post, posts that are “featured” as examples of when the community have helped out.
It all starts with better moderation and more involvement from Niantic.
Perhaps I wasn’t clear. It’s a separate question than the standard what do we want Niantic to do.
Its about asking Tintino about what they think, and what we all as individuals can do to improve the atmosphere.
