    Having some new pokestops is not something than can simply be requested.ww

    It is up to individual players (Pokémon Go level 37) to nominate points of interest - essentially a great place to explore, exercise, or socialise.

    These nominations are reviewed and rated by the community of other players as to whether they meet the criteria of being acceptable. If accepted they are added as a wayspot to the lightship database. Pokémon Go then has a prgamed algorithm as to whether a wayspot becomes a pokestop or gym

    So lots of steps.
