Stores that just make retail transactions are hard to get thru.
Do they host social events when people might come, even if they're not necessarily buying things, to socialize?
Can you go into a sound room and listen to a record - explore the art?
When you nominate always think of the three categories and tailor your nomination that way
1) Exercise --- doesn't fit this one at all. Usually this is the most obvious category and doesn't need to be expressly mentioned and why Athletic Fields and Playgrounds sail through.
2) Social --- Why do people socialize there? Does this store have any gatherings? Do they host weekly listen to old music hours.... You need to make the case for this usually.
3) Explore -- Why do people explore here? Now this MIGHT work. Old Records and Music is hard to find, and it is a collectible thing that people explore for. Music is definetly a form of art too. And there have been threads and discussions about the suitibility of Art Galleries as fitting the Explore Category.
In most cases retail transactions aren't suitible as explore but you can make an argument that if the retail transaction are things like Antiques, Art, that you couldn't just get anywhere they would fit. Vinyl Records and old music tends to fall into that genre.
Make your description and supplement focused like that and it MIGHT work. It would at least make an attempt to satisfy the criteria and be up to reviewers.
this should get approved no problem the thing is don't write the description like an advertisement other than that you should be fine
What criteria does this meet. "A sign on a wall" is not an acceptance reason.
You can actually walk in there and buy something, correct?
For me this is like a comic book store. I would call it a " well known and renommated place, were collectors and fans of vintage music can meet, interact, discuss their hobby and hunt down a piece of music of their choice" or something like that. I would definitly approve this nomination, looks like a cool place.
