Is there a way we can expedite the process of nomination? I live in a private residential area, and a lot of people play Pokémon Go here but interestingly enough , despite meeting the accessibility and safety criteria of Niantic, there has been no progress with my nominated places…

You can't do much besides earning upgrades for your nominations (which will have higher risk of being rejected).
Reviewing to earn upgrades is the only way. For each 100 agreements you get while reviewing you earn an upgrade that can be applied to one of your submissions.
Some people believe that upgrades increase the risk of things being rejected, but that has not been my personal experience. Of my last 29 submissions 100% have had upgrades applied and 27 have been accepted. One of the rejected ones was marginal, and the other was in a location that is somewhat difficult to confirm (inside an airport) and submitted partially in English rather than the local language. I do recommend ensuring that your submissions are well-polished and that it's easy for reviewers to understand and accept them. One side effect of reviewing is that you learn what makes a submission easy to review and approve, and you can apply that knowledge to your own submissions.
