Lost pokemon arena in village

Hello all,
until yesterday we had a arena in our village close to 6 other normal pokestops. Sadly the arena was the only pokestop sitting on a cemetry what is the reason i belive it got removed (after years!).
I would like to try to get one of the other 6 pokestops turned into an arena, since they are not in the cemetry and there is a little nice park and mill museum what makes it a good place to play pokemon go.
Can someone explain me some ways to get it done?

If you had 6 you should have had two arenas unless they were spaced out enough to be in different cells, search for how cells in Go work if you are not sure. It's possible one of the remaining five will become a arena later today/tomorrow but it depends on their spacing.
If you post the Location/name of the stops someone will most likely help you figure out possible submissions and/or help with arenas.

The number of gyms is based on S2 cells (search in google about that and Pokemon Go, Niantic doesn't want us to discuss them and some users around here get very angry whenever people talk about Pokemon). In you case, that zone is splitted in two L14 S2 cells, so I guess that there are other gyms further away in those cells and that's why there is no gym there
The screenshot is the north cell marking the pokestops at the bottom, you should be able to recognize the gyms and pokestops at the top
That's fine.
In this first image the blue outline is a level 14 S2 cell. These can only contain 3 arenas most of the time. When a L14 cell has 2 Wayspots (pokestops) one of them becomes a gym, the next arena appears when the cell reaches 6 Wayspots, then the 3rd arena at 20 Wayspots. This area looks like it has about 22 Wayspots already so has reached the maximum amount of arenas.
This image is a closer look and shows Level 17 cells. Each L17 cells can contain multiple Wayspots but only one of them will appear in game for Go.
This image, using the Wayfarer app shows *every* Wayspot in an area, the previous image were from IITC which doesn't always show every Wayspot in Niantic's database due to the spacing rules that Ingress uses.
It's a lot more useful as you may find something you would like to submit but it possibly already exists but doesn't appear in Go making your submission most likely to be marked as a duplicate.
I hope that make sense, someone else can probably explain it a lot more concisely though :D

Yes i can recognise your screenshots. So the park is split into two zones. In the upper zone there is one arena. The lower zone has two or maybe three arenas. So i guess chances for the lower spots are low to become an arena.
But the three park spots in the upper zone can get an arena (Since there are more then 6 spots and only 1 arena yet)? But its random? So basicly the football stadium spot can get arena right?
There is no chance for me to ask the game nicely: Hey please make that spot arena right?
The upper cell looks like this with Vogelstange at the top left.
For Go you would see 9 Wayspots in game so that L14 cell should have two arenas already. You would have to find another 11 to create a third arena. Unfortunately you can't create a new arena by asking.
It can become confusing so it does help to familiarise yourself with how the system works.
For the upper L14 park cell.
Go = 9 Wayspots appearing.
Ingress = 10 Wayspots.
Actual amount in the cell = 12 Wayspots.
Yes, the vogelstange is the arena i the upper cell. But there is no other arena in that zone currently. The arena that got removed was the secound one in this zone. So there should be a chance that a new one appears in a few days or am i wrong? (And all i can do is to prey it takes the spot i hope :D)

How do you get IITC to highlight an individual L14 cell?
I didn't mark any gym, so it highlighted the cell because it has enough Pokestops for a Gym and it was missing. It also happens if you mark too many gyms
Can you verify that the missing gym isn't one of the points in the screenshot?
Maybe it has been removed only from Pokemon Go and that has messed up the system, as @Seabound-ING said, the gym should appear automatically.
About selecting which one is selected, that's also forbidden, but you can ask that question elsewhere (keep in mind that Niantic has said that performing actions to select a gym is abuse)

Niantic can go jump in a lake. They don't get to throw up their hands and tell us "we have no control over how the games use wayspots" when we want the systems to work better together AND tell us that using a game designed system to designate which POI becomes a gym is "abuse." They can't have it both ways. Either the Wayfarer team is COMPLETELY REMOVED from the games teams or they're not. I am tired of every word coming out of all Niantic employees mouths being 100% advantageous to the company while declaring that things we do as users to be good stewards of our local communities is WRONG.
The new Arena spawned today, and sadly at the worst position possible. Right next to the other arena at the village exit... 😣
