Absurd amount of fake Wayspots
Hello everyone.
This started as a user on Twitter was bragging that he "had his Pokéstop" which was his Twitter profile picture, a friend let me know and I started looking. (this tweet is gone)
Investigating further I found the Pokéstop in a park and on the other side of the city (where he said he lived) an absurd amount of fake Wayspots and coincidentally he boasted of his many Pokéstops and Gyms at home. (you can see everything in his Twitter account)
https://twitter.com/AngelAdrianSA/status/1574098739165204480
Since I was on vacation, I couldn't find everything I needed to report all this abuse.
Today, "AdrianMudkip89"'s Pokéstop is gone (I was beat in reporting it). His Twitter account was gone for like 2 days:
Now... I want to report all the false Wayspots that have been generated in Acapulco and that I have been able to find evidence that they are false and that it has been a group that has done all this.
I hope you can help me.
First of all, I want to give you some context since many of these wayspots say they are in El Veladero National Park when in fact they are in Cerro de Mariana.
The area in white is El Veladero National Park and the area in red is Cerro de Mariana.
Title: mural al basquetbol

Title: Baloncesto
Location: https://intel.ingress.com/?pll=16.842839,-99.840396
These 2 Wayspots are the same only that the photo is from a different angle. Sadly you can't see which one is the real one. "Baloncesto" is in the middle of buildings which makes it look, doubtful.
"mural al basquetbol" is on the corner of a building which makes it the closest to being real. The locations were carefully placed in areas where there is no Street View.
Title: Árbol del Pan del Parque Nacional del Veladero
Location: https://intel.ingress.com/?pll=16.841398,-99.838016
The Veladero National Park is on the other side of the city: https://geohack.toolforge.org/geohack.php?language=es&pagename=Parque_nacional_El_Veladero¶ms=16.90194444_N_-99.905_E_type:landmark
Even in the photo you can see that the plate is on the street and the location where it was sent was in the middle of nowhere.
Title: Arte Urbano: Pikachu
Location: https://intel.ingress.com/?pll=16.846225,-99.82917
The actual location of this little Pikachu is in Okinawa.

The real mural is located in CDMX, Mexico:
Title: Atardecer en Acapulco del Parque Nacional del Veladero
Location: https://intel.ingress.com/?pll=16.842898,-99.838974
This mural is in the middle of nowhere. In the photo you can see that there is at least one building behind and as you can see in Google Maps and Street View... there isn't.
Title: Auditorio del Parque Nacional del Veladero
Location: https://intel.ingress.com/?pll=16.841995,-99.838955
And again, the Veladero National Park is on the other side of the city. Also, as you can see, it's in the middle of nowhere, such an auditorium could be clearly seen from Google Maps.
Title: Ballena del Parque Nacional del Veladero
Location: https://intel.ingress.com/?pll=16.843407,-99.837281
And again, in the middle of nowhere. You can see that there are houses attached to the mural and on Google Maps there is no house so close to the location they sent.
And also, the Veladero National Park is on the other side of the city.
Title: Ceiba del Parque Nacional El Veladero
Location: https://intel.ingress.com/?pll=16.841996,-99.839593

Title: Diosa de los Mares Del Parque Nacional del Veladero
Location: https://intel.ingress.com/?pll=16.841256,-99.835796
And again, Wayspot in the middle of nowhere, without Street View and with a name that is from the other side of the city and well, the original place is in Argentina.

Title: El Águila del Parque Nacional del Veladero
Location: https://intel.ingress.com/?pll=16.847526,-99.840684
And another one, Wayspot in the middle of nowhere, on Street View you can see that there is nothing quite like it and with a name that is from the other side of town. The original place of the mural is in Chile. Even the photo was stolen from the artists' Flickr.

Title: El Cangrejo del Parque Nacional del Veladero
Location: https://intel.ingress.com/?pll=16.845207,-99.838698
And just what they do and it is their way of "working" to send Wayspots where there is no Street View. It's incredible that it happened since you can see that there is a palm tree in the photo and well... palm trees don't grow in the middle of the forest.
Title: El Jaguar del Parque Nacional del Veladero
Location: https://intel.ingress.com/?pll=16.846899,-99.837225
This mural is located on a bridge. The Wayspot was clearly sent to a place in the middle of nowhere with a false name since the Veladero National Park is located on the other side of the city.
