I have reported some waypoints that have been destroyed by the flood in 2021. All reports have been rejected. How does this happen?

I have reported some waypoints that have been destroyed by the flood in 2021. All reports have been rejected. How does this happen?

Most likely, Google street view and/or satellite view show the area before the flood, so Niantic can't confirm the report. You can appeal the rejected reports in the Invalid Wayspot Appeals forum.

You can also add other information to your post in that forum, such as links to news articles detailing the flood's damage.
