Hello Pokémon Go community,
I am writing to appeal for the inclusion of Chastang Landfill in Mount Vernon, Alabama (middle of no where) as a new in-game location. Despite being a landfill, many players gather here to play the game and take advantage of the unique setting while they wait to dump their trash. Additionally, Chastang Landfill is certified as a wildlife habitat.
I believe that adding this location would greatly benefit the community and enhance the overall gaming experience for players. I urge you to consider this request and hope to see Chastang Landfill as a new in-game location soon. Thank you for your time and consideration.

I apologize but I do not know how this works. I was just following what I saw on a previous post. If you could explain I would appreciate it.
well, you have to make the nomination through the game, not the forum. and I thought maybe you were being sarcastic, you know landfill =trash. Then saying it’s a unique setting. I thought you were trying to be funny.
I submitted a nomination for a Pokéstop through the app, but it was unfortunately rejected. I subsequently submitted an appeal through Wayfarer, but did not receive a response after several months. As a result, I decided to post in this discussion forum in hopes of garnering attention for my request. The location in question is unique in that it is not a typical statue or plaque, but rather a location where myself and some colleagues frequently play Pokémon Go during our lunch breaks. We would greatly appreciate a Pokéstop in this location, as it would eliminate the need for us to travel to another town to play. I understand how this request may have been perceived as a joke, but I assure you it is a genuine request.
May I make a suggestion. You may or may not get an answer from these forums. It would probably be best (and faster) to make the nomination again. My suggestion is to just use the photo of the sign that says "certified wildlife habitat" and the title of the nomination be for the wildlife habitat, not the landfill. Also, I don't know your supporting information and description, but don't mention pokemon or that we need a pokestop here, etc. Just emphasize that it is a great place to explore and see wildlife.
I appreciate that suggestion and it makes sense (and honestly that's really a great idea). I'll try it out and see if the results will change.
