Pokestop Nomination been in voting for 5 months
My pokestop nomination has been in voting for 5 months. Is there anything to be done to speed this up or can someone review it for me? I don't know what can be done.
Thank you

Welcome.
First, let's talk briefly about the language we use here on the forums. Though the PGO game doesn't make this clear, you did not actually submit a "pokestop." You submitted a Wayspot that will go into the Lightship database. Each game Niantic owns has its own rules for whether or not it will use approved Wayspots.
Now that that's out of the way, YES! there is a way you can speed it up.
If you log in to the Wayfarer site, you can review the submissions that other people have made. Each time your assessment agrees with the final decision of the community (to reject, accept, or mark it as a duplicate), you earn an Agreement. You will see your agreement percentage in a circle on your Profile page. When that Agreement percentage reaches 100%, you will earn an Upgrade.
An Upgrade can be applied to one of your own submissions. It will put that submission in front of a larger reviewing audience. This typically means that the submission will reach a decision within just a few hours, often faster.
A word of warning about how upgrades work. Under Settings, you have the option to Automatically Apply Upgrades. If you have this toggled to ON, you have to choose which nomination you want to be upgraded next. You can only do that for nominations that have not moved into the Voting phase. If you have Auto Upgrade turned on but have not selected a nomination to upgrade next, the system will pick one for you, typically the oldest nomination.
Many of us turn Auto Upgrade off to have more control over which things we upgrade. This is the only way we can reliably force a nomination that has already gone into voting to be upgraded.
Some don't want nominations in voting to upgrade. But in areas where it may take upwards of a year to get an approval, it can be necessary to upgrade them.
it be like that
Thank you for letting me know about the criteria. Anyways I've had an upgrade on it since the start and I feel there must be something wrong then because according to you it takes only a few hours to review with an upgrade but I've had no luck for 5 months. Would do you suggest I do?
Are you sure it says "Upgraded" and not "Upgrade Next?"
I'm also really curious if there is a Niantic logo balloon next to it. We've seen that new submitters usually have their first few submissions reviewed directly by Niantic. Though, that voting process doesn't take months to complete.
No Niantic logo. Showing "upgrade next" so it was apparently never upgraded. Even though I 100% had an upgrade on it. I'll get to reviewing now so I can get an upgrade lol. Also quick question is it possible to come across your submittions while reviewing?
No, you should not see your own submission while reviewing. We've had situations where we run across our own edits, but I don't thinknthats supposed to happen, either. Edits are all lumped together and I guess the coding is hard to figure out, especially when there's not many active reviewers on the area. (Edits basically stay in local voting.)
By design you cannot review your own nominations. But reviewing other people's nominations helps get everything moving just a little faster.
Ok! Thank you!
Ok! Thank you!
Depending where you are, 5 months csn be normal. For example, halfway through last year, nominations were taking about 3 ton4 months near Glasgow, yet in the last 2 or so months nominations have been going through in less than a week. Hopefully the voting improves in your area
