Upgrades not working atm?

Hello guys,

I made a nomination a few days ago and put an upgrade on it, but the status has not changed until now. According to my experience, it only takes a few hours from upgrade to rejection (because rejection is highlife currently).

Other nominations are already within the voting process, but the upgraded one is not.

Btw, similar question for objections. You can do only one per month, but after several month there ist still no reaction to them.. so it probably makes more sense to renominate several times than making an objection?

I currently have a nomination that was upgraded 5 days ago and is still "in queue". I've heard that upgrades may take up to 7 days until they're in voting? Not sure of the validity of that statement.

And yes, it's quicker to renominate rather than waiting for an appeal to be decided.

Yes, there is a random time of up to week I think before a new submission goes from in que to in voting and upgrading doesn’t by pass this.

Appeals are taking a long time…..if you live in an area with a fast turnaround then resubmitting is a good option.

If a nomination is stuck in the appeal process and I make a new one, will it pop up as a duplicate? Because my probable best nomination is stuck in there.

And the time a nomination needs to get rejected or whatever is so random. Sometimes two weeks, sometimes month, an some several month old are not even in the voting process xD

As the first submission wasn’t accepted it isn’t in the lightship database so it won’t appear in duplicates so the new one will be fine.

if the second gets accpeted before the appeal is resolved tge appeal in theory will be a duplicate- I had this scenario and it was also accpeted 🙄😂
