Additional information: Unsure why this wayspot was removed. Perhaps someone thought it was located on a road meant for motor vehicles? It is not. The bridge originally built for car traffic was repurposed to become part of the trail here and has been pedestrian/bike only for decades. The trail is clearly marked on both google maps and open streetmap as visible in the screenshots above and the bridge as it is along a named trail fully meets criteria. Over the past 6-12 months, I've had 10 additional bridges along this same trail approved by local reviewers as well.
The second two images show a bike cam view from 2009 to demonstrate just how long this bridge has been car-free. The second is streetview from the adjacent highway dated last August.
Please restore this wayspot and consider educating the person who reported it as well as the Niantic individual who approved the removal.

What is holding this one up? I'd like to get this wayspot restored.
I could understand the mix up though. At first glance all i was focused on was highway lol. Niantic is picky with highways though, if it does get revived maybe pull it as far away from the highway as possible.
the pin is already on the far side of the bridge from the highway. i'll try to get out there soon and take my own photos if that helps. i've walked and biked across it dozens of times, it was very surprising to see it removed and frustrating that it's taken a month and counting for it to be restored.
