Additional information:
We haven't heard back anything yet, but the situation is rather urgent as more and more perfectly eligible nominations are being systematically deleted every single day because of a possible malfunction in the Wayfarer database, which led to the unintentional deletion of many Basketball Courts all over Italy.
As I mentioned in the original post, most of these were located inside Oratories, which are popular community centers for social gatherings. Please note that they are not remotely comparable to K-12 locations, as they are publically accessible by people of all ages. In fact, I had to manually check each and every single one of them in order to verify whether they actually belonged inside oratories rather than catholic schools... But feel free to check them for yourselves.
The Wayspots I included only represent a fraction of the ones that have gone missing, so I'll be sure to include any additional reports during the following days, at least until we receive an official statement specifically regarding the reason why these Wayspots were removed.

Thanks for the response... I hope the team will be able to uncover the root of this problem soon. In the meantime, if you need any more Wayspots to investigate, here's a list of more reports I have received during the weekend:
Interestingly enough, some of these didn't include the words "basket" or "oratorio" but evidently referenced sports fields with basketball hoops in the main photo. My previous guess was that it had something to do with the Wayspot categorization feature, but I'm not sure how the system could automatically recognize oratories as the closest tag we have is "Indoor Recreation Center" and "Prayer Rooms" (which by the way is incorrectly translated as "Sale die preghiera")
