Why are 3 of my pokestop nomination saying approved but the pokestop isn't there in the game?
I have pokestops I nominated in the Croydon, South Australia, Australia area which have been accepted. When I go I to the Pokemon Go app they don't appear there. One only got accepted a week ago, so that one I can understand not being there yet. But the other 2 have been accepted for more then 2 months.

You need to pay attention to this line in the email.
Remember that not all accepted nominations will appear in all Niantic games (and may take up to 48 hours to appear)
You do not have an accepted PokéStop, but an accepted Wayspot which may become a PokéStop depending on inclusion rules.
For Pokémon GO, you get one PokéStop per level 17 S2 cell. For Ingress, you can have more than one in that cell, provided they’re 20m+ apart.

Hello and Welcome @Zollsa-PGO
it is likely to be a spacing problem.
If you can provide the names of the wayspots and exact locations we can check and find out the problem.
niantic lies to the players a bit. you don't create pokestops as written in your game. only wayspots to their common map. the distance of 20 meters applies to ingress only. The distance to pokemon go is probably 50 meters. you also need to check the cells in the iitc mobile program. 1 cell is only 1 pokestop. it's such a little cheat. if you add anything closer than 20 meters it won't even show up in the ingress. it will then appear in lightship databases

There is no distance rule involved in accepting into Pokémon go, there is only the cell rule. You can have wayspots converting into pokestops that are less than a metre apart IF separated by an imaginary cell line. This is why we need the exact location to check.
The first pokestop is at 449 Port Rd, Croydon but it shows as 48 Princess St, Croydon, S.A, 5008 and its called Vinnies Store Croydon. The 2nd is on the corner of Princess St and Queen St, Croydon but shows as 449 Port Rd, Croydon, S.A, 5008 and named Sweet Flowers. The third is where the Croydon Train Park is/trIn station and the address it has is Croydon, Croydon, S.A, 5008. And called Mem the cat.
I looked this up on IITC with the pogo S2 cell plugin and all 3 of your nominations are unable to appear in Pokémon GO because of the games inclusion rules needing to be in a free Level 17 S2 cell. Some of them will appear in Ingress instead since they meet that games inclusion rule.
Thanks for the details @Zollsa-PGO
Here is a detailed explanation.
Although the impression you are given when you submit something is that you are submitting to be a pokestop the reality is that you are submitting something with the potential to be a pokestop.
Once your nomination is approved, it is a wayspot in the Lightship database - this holds all approved wayspots and is separate from all Niantic games.
That is the end point of wayfarer, and what happens next is not related to wayfarer.
Each game sets its own rules as to what it will take from the database to use in that particular game.
For Pokémon Go the rules revolve around the use of some mapping software commonly referred to as S2 cells.
Google: S2 cells and Pokémon Go - Pokémongohub has a very good explanation.
The key is that in PoGo it only accepts 1 wayspot in each Level 17 cell, so if there is already a pokestop or gym in the game in that cell, yours will not be selected to enter Pokémon Go.
This is what has happened in your case.
This uses the overlay described by Kawin240 above.
I’ve picked out your wayspot (1) and you can see there is already another pokestop Savos Store so that blocks yours from becoming a stop.
Sweet flowers is slightly more complex.
This is from Lightship App
It is too close to Daisys mural to show on the screenshot above as it doesn’t meet ingress rules, so I’ve marked it as (2) on the first screenshot. Either way both nearby cells have already got a pokestop.
Mem the cat is in a cell with 2 others so it doesn’t appear.
It is disappointing and frustrating when this happens. Do read the information about the cells so you are aware for the future.
