I have had the experience so far that voting takes place faster if the proposed spot is in an area that is still undecided. then you can already get an approval or rejection after a week. for suggestions in e.g. inner cities with many other stops, it takes forever. one of my suggestions in the Central of a bigger City has been waiting for over a year.
