older wayspots being rejected without giving up reason

Hi,

I got several portal submissions refused this week without an explanation why

accidentally they were the same portals that Niantic asked if they were still there, both of them had been in voting for over a year now

now one of them is a stone miniature of a fort, not something you can exactly pick up and take home with you. (picture added, anyone who can pick this up, good luck)

but what I wonder is, are they removing the backlog by just declining everything? if not then why aren't we provided reasons so we can resubmit and give answer to the previous removal...

anyone else experiencing this?

or should we just stop submitting worthy portals and just add waypoints in parks since they are the prefered ones these days ;-)

    Hello @maredon-ING

    These are being done by Niantic.

    Once you release the hold on the submission it is picked up within a few days and you will see the in voting with the Niantic symbol.

    Decision not to accept reached by Niantic does not provide any reasons.

    They are not declining everything - I had one accept and one reject a few days ago.

    Like all of us they can make mistakes. But also they will be heavily reliant on the information in the submission as they are unlikely to have any local awareness. So there may be things you thought were unnecessary for local reviewers that you might need to include.

    I took the chance to edit one of mine taking that into consideration.

    I’m sure if you cut and paste the text along with the photos we can perhaps make suggestions.
