Yet I didn't find @HaramDingo-ING 's nomination on the airport...
After the challenge is over, does the bonus location reset? I never had a bonus location picked prior to the event.
Having wondered about changing I didn’t change as I was slowly getting a feel for the area, and in the end that felt the most important but wasn’t convinced the flow would improve either.
But unsure where to go to at the end

Buru gave me 5 reviews almost immediately then nothing.
The other two had a ratio of about 1 Indonesian submission to every 75 UK submissions.
I had 20+ nominations in South Kuta, Bali, all still in queue. I upgraded 1 indoor statue, rejected as fake.
I had 2 nominations in Sanur, Bali, both accepted in this event.
To be fair I had about 20+-ish nominations in voting (I live at South Tangerang fyi) before the challenge, and about 3 of them were accepted by Niantic voting (they're from early 2021 btw). I've used 2 upgrades obtained from reviewing during this challenge and both upgraded nominations were accepted as well.
Too bad many of you didn't meet my nominations...
I changed my location to there after you mentioned it but only saw a takeaway with a poor picture.
We never get that sort of stuff in the UK...
1st location - Bali; 2st location - North Sumatra; 3rd location - Addis Ababa; 4th location - South Kalimantan; 5th location - northwestern Papua.
Getting nothing at all from Papua unfortunately, so I'm waiting for the final bonus location reset.
Mine was Tangerang.

South Jakarta, Tonga, Pitcairn Islands, Togo & Benin, Surakarta. I used 5 bonus location resets!
Just once and yesterday to Moçambique, at least I know the language. Also I didn't get much from Indonésia and what I did get were bad or prints from street view.
I chose Makassar because it was sort-of the geographical center. But all I got was coal - and the challenge was to get an acceptance.
So I changed to Semarang (between Jakarta and Surabaya), and it was a delight. Probably the average amount of coal, plus lots of interesting places. Many artistic gates, mosques, and prayer rooms. Also ruins, water fountains, statues, etc. So I stayed there.
I did a lot of reviews Monday morning after the challenge ended, hoping to finish up nominations that just needed one more vote. I changed back to my usual bonus location 1PM EST (10AM PST) Monday.
