A questão?

It is notorious that many of the locations that are proposed by players as pokestop points are refused simply because they are not visible in the streetview. Although they are located in public places, pedestrian circuits easily accessible to people who walk, cycle and play Pokémon Go, I myself have already proposed some and even being national monuments and historical and public interest they were refused! It feels like "Wasted time!" 🤔

I nominated something in a building and the building wasn't in imagery. My overview shot was actually taken from outside the building, just to prove there was a building there. Luckily it was a restaurant with a statue inside and the statue was in images within the google maps listing. I suggest before you submit anything, take a look at google maps and street view to see what a reviewer will see. You will have much better submissions if you plan ahead.

Yes, that can be very frustrating. My only piece of advice is to use the supporting photo to your advantage. Try to show the nominated object and something else easily identifiable in the picture (a street sign, a building, etc) and point it out in the supporting information how you are trying to prove its location.

The best thing you can do when you submit things that aren't visible on street view is to think about what supporting information would be most helpful to reviewers, and then provide it. Is there a way to take your supporting photo that would provide reviewers with confidence that the location is accurate? Is there something you can say in supporting text that will help them confirm the location? Maybe both?

I reject a lot of things because the submitter hasn't provided me with any evidence that the candidate is at the location. I also accept a fair number with 3* for the location because it's likely that they're at that location but I can't confirm it.

It's the job of submitters to provide the information necessary for reviewers. It's the job of reviewers to confirm the information that's provided. The vast majority of the "bad reviewers" complaints that I see could have easily been avoided by the submitter if they'd provided better information.

In this place there are the ruins of a proto-urban cluster. Village from the Chalcolithic Period with continuous construction in the Bronze and Iron Ages! The name "Castro do Castelo Velho Terena-Alandroal"

It's away from roads, buildings or traffic signs, it's simply on one of the pedestrian paths that pass through there! So far I haven't been able to add the location, but I'll keep trying! Thank you for your attention!👍

Do these ruins have a sign? If not they will be hard to get through anyway. Also, some ruins are labeled on maps. If they are you can mention that in your description. Go to this map which shows the ruins are located here.
