Offensive editorial content

Today, I received two reviews for editorial content of the description from specific regions of Japan.

Both were complaining about judging and ranting at the community, especially Ingress users.

I reported it as cheating, but I think this Pokemon trainer will come out many times without learning.

Please let me know what I should do as a reviewer.

Target spots:ソーラーパネルの時計台

Hakusan City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan

(36.512584N,136.562306E)

Nian's AMA and other statements clearly state that all billboards, including those hanging on walls, are subject to approval. Old Ingress who still can't accept the bulletin board is a stumbling block in society anyway, so let's get rid of it from Wayfarer as well! In the first place, players of Ingress, a low-profit game that is much older than Pokemon Go, have no say in it, let them know that Wayfarer is only a way to increase Pokest and gyms!

原文(Japanese)

Originally, speaking of the kind of information board I am writing about here, the Japanese do not understand the meaning of the word "situational" at all, as Giffard stated when he responded.

This is because the particular Wayfinder who translated it into Japanese left out "situational".

In other words, he said it as if it were 100% approved.

Therefore, this false information was circulated among Japanese Pokémon GO players.

And this Wayfinder did not correct the intentional mistranslation, even though it was pointed out to him later.

Youtubers who took this information to heart also spread the misinterpretation, which has continued to this day.

Incidentally, one of the leading propagators is @KOWLOONsGT-ING .

In Japan, information boards are generally located every 100 meters.

In other words, they are located at every intersection of alleys and are as mass-produced and common as car stop fences.

The content of the information boards is almost the same within a community, and very few residents give much importance to this lagging information board.

I think it deserves a warning email for using editorial content in the description to curse the community.

I don't know the name of this Pokémon trainer.

However, I can assure you of this.

The abuse by this Pokemon Trainer is distasteful and unacceptable, and I think he should get some morals before catching Pokemon with Poké Balls.

Although it is only one place, the location information of the spot is attached.

    @tp235-ING

I reviewed the exact same content today.

Have you received similar reviews from Ishikawa Prefecture?

I knew right away that this Pokémon trainer was abusive.

Even if he receives a warning email from Niantic, we will have to do a similar review for a while.

Unfortunately, I have been completely disillusioned with the low quality of Japanese nominations and have reviewed very little in the past month.

I did about 10 reviews during the Indonesia Challenge, but I closed the screen because I became disillusioned immediately.

And even if the Wayfarer team were to warn this abuser, nothing would work.

They have never had their game accounts BAN, despite their strong words.

    Therefore, nothing will work.

People who submit low quality nominations are probably thinking like him and applying easily.

However, since this case is vicious and cannot be left unattended, I decided to discuss it in the thread.

Even if the Wayfarer team bans him, it will be difficult to **** him of his Pokéball.

    I agree with you.

I also enjoy Pokémon Go and there is nothing wrong with Pokémon Go itself.

Pokémon GO has built a good game system that even I, who only knew Pikachu and had never even seen the anime, can enjoy.

The Wayfarer team is not solely responsible for this.

And if anything, the Pokémon GO team is to blame.

The Pokémon GO team has been too neglectful in dealing with cheating.

This has created a gaming community where multi-accounting is the majority and has created many Pokémon masters with this level of morals.

We do not need these players in a healthy gaming community.

And I have never seen such a game other than Pokémon GO.

He's still on the run when asked to correct the incorrect Japanese translation, as in this Twitter timeline.

In a sense, these Japanese Pokemon players are spreading Fake Criteria. (He speaks on an Ingress account but is not an Ingress agent. He is a Pokémon trainer.)

As a result, Niantic's games no longer have any appeal in Japan.

Soon Peridot will launch globally, but no one loves a digital pet that was born out of a TRASH BOX can and scavenges the TRASH BOX.

    @tp235-ING

First of all, I would like you to stop users who use edited content to spread hate.

This Pokemon trainer seems to have done something similar several times in Ishikawa and Fukui prefectures in Japan.

I've read the review about 6 times already.

Even if Niantic suspends the license of this Pokemon Trainer, he/she will probably become a sub-account and may escalate further.

    I found same pattern.

These two cases are about 300 km apart and were most likely sent from Wayfarer App. The development team does not limit the functionality, which makes it easier to do these abuses.

Reviews with the same content are scattered in Ishikawa, Fukui, and Gifu prefectures, so I tried to guess the applicant's intentions from the laws of location, but to no avail.

All Japanese reviewers may be targeted if he/she is doing the same across Japan.

I think it's probably the same person.

Is it okay to report this Pokémon trainer for abuse?

  • AgentMAenlight-INGAgentMAenlight-ING Posts: 227 Ambassador

We reported it here and Gendi pinged Niantic so you probably won't have to.

    @AgentMAenlight-ING

    Thank you.

Also, when I become a reviewer, is it okay to choose to report abuse?
