They likely did not meet the Pokémon Go gameboard criteria to be used in that game, they are not awaiting any sort of activation to appear.

All approved nominations are stored as wayspots in a central database used by all of Niantic's games. It is up to each individual game to decide on what wayspots will as in game objects.

    Hello and welcome @YoKi621-PGO

if you are comfortable saying where this location is we can look into it and give exact advice.

This is the most likely explanation.

Although the impression you are given when you submit something is that you are submitting the object to be a pokestop, the reality is that you are submitting something with the potential to be a pokestop.

Once a nomination is approved, it is a wayspot in the Lightship database - this holds all approved wayspots and is separate from all Niantic games.

That is the end point of wayfarer, and what happens next is not related to wayfarer.

Each game sets its own rules as to what it will take from the database to use in that particular game.

For Pokémon Go the rules revolve around the use of some mapping software commonly referred to as S2 cells.

Google: S2 cells and Pokémon Go - Pokémongohub  has a very good explanation.

The key is that in PoGo it only accepts 1 wayspot in each Level 17 cell, so if there is already a pokestop or gym in the game in that cell, yours will not be selected to enter Pokémon Go.

The rule for Ingress is different - a 20m distance between portals.

because of the different rules it is possible for a wayspot to appear in both games, just Pokémon Go, just ingress, or neither.

So although you are aware these spots exist there is no process that can make them appear in breach of those rules.

Its great that you actively submitting, learn about these rules that Niantic won’t talk about.

PS that bad word filter not allowing the in French 🙄

    L'autre jeu Niantic c'est Ingress??

(Ce sont donc des portails) si c'est le cas, bien souvent **** portails en tant que t’elle n’apparaisse pas dans pokemon go.

It can mean that there are wayspots that become portals in Ingress as they meet that games rules, but not in Pokémon Go as they don’t meet those rules.

    Its complex
