Rejected nomination
Hi! Im new to this and have just had my first rejected waypoint. The reason for rejection was «private property» . The waypoint is a zipline in a fairly big public playground. As you can see in the second pic the zipline is inside the fenced of area, next to the football field. I filed an appeal for this, but does anyone here know if appeals get rewieved by other wayfarers or Niantic? Do you think the appeal wil be sustained?

Comments
Appeals are looked at by Niantic.
Appeals will be up for Niantic review, it may take a long time. I'll let someone else comment on its quality of review, I seldom use mine.
If the Park is marked as a Park on Google Maps, that's a good supporting detail to add to an appeal. If that park has a website or a listing on a Parks Department page, put that link in as well! The photo you show for Supporting could easily be of a person's back yard, if it's a large home with a good income and active kids. An appeal comes with an additional block of supporting text to clarify your submission and address the initial rejection reasons. I've had lots of stuff approved on appeal, mostly because I took the rejection reasons to heart and explained why they did not pertain to my submission. If it's unlikely you'll get back there soon to be able to resubmit (I'd change the supporting photo to show more of the park stuff, and add links) then an appeal might be your best option. If the candidate spot is easily reached and local, then improvement and re-submission would likely be faster.
I agree that neither of these images rules out that this is in someone's back yard/garden. This does not look like any park I am familiar with.
