Restore removed wayspot: The Retired Champion
Title of the Wayspot: The Retired Champion
Location: https://intel.ingress.com/?ll=45.768793,15.846131&z=19
City: Zagreb
Country: Croatia
Screenshot of the Rejection Email: N/A
Additional information:
Wayspot was removed from existence because of Ingress Agent claiming:
-portal/wayspot is on military base premises (false)
-portal is inaccessible by foot (false)
Both of his claims were dismissed by comments in topic, but no action came.
Here is a summary
Military base claim: this is a civil airport and not a military base - visible from name in public property records and by owner (it is Republic of Croatia and not DoD). Military base WAS there, but ceased operations more than 20 years ago.
Walking path claim:
In the satellite image of airfield https://www.google.com/maps/@45.768346,15.850722,642m/data=!3m1!1e3 you can clearly see walking path used by people and airfield maintenance equipment to get from main apron to that exact retired helicopter.
Please restore waypoint since this is a regular portal/pokestop that adds to normal play and walking

Comments
While "Vojarna Lučko" is not a military base anymore. Ministry of Defence of Republic of Croatia is still using it. They are even building storages for Blackhawks helicopters.

@Pwnrrrr-PGO storage hangar for helicopters in civil airbase affects this wayspot how?
-you can still enter airbase as civilian
-you can still walk to wayspot
-airbase is public, not military
Everything I wrote is true and can be checked via public records
This is satellite image of airfield from 2011
You can clearly see two glides on filed near runaway, one glider in preparation for takeoff on runaway and airplane used for aerotow. You can also see ++ and - markers used for precision landing and two small tents and the car. distance from helicopter to tents is less than 120 meters or less than 400 feet. Distance to glider in preparation for takeoff is bit more than 80 meters, or less than 300 feet.
Those people there are civilians from gliders section of Aeroclub Zagreb who is also operator of airport so you can conclude that on this civilian airport civilians are allowed to go freely to the point where waypoint was.
And this is how it looks form a ground, ex waypoint, "Retired champion" is some 150 meters or 500 feet for people in picture.
Hi @mrki008-ING! We have taken another look but stand by our decision to retire this Wayspot.
