Why ALL my contribution are rejected
Hello all and sorry in advance for my bad English,
Recently, I try to improve my city by adding PokeStops. But to my surprise, they all come back rejected with false reasons.
1 example :
You can see that it was refused on the grounds of private residence. (while located next to an arena)
You can see here with Street View that there are pedestrians, there is even a bench, a staircase leading to the beach, and public toilets. How can it be less public?
You can see some benches and the door your can see is the public toilet.
So, can someone explain this ?
Here is my 2nd example :
This one was refused because apparently there is no pedestrian access, although its an ice cream shop and you can see pedestrians at the end of my second photo. Of course, visible on Street View.
Oh, and I can't even make a call after I've used my upgrade?
Both of these PokeStops are located in a busy pedestrian area on the seawall, easily accessible, are places open to the public.
Thanks for reading me.

Comments
I wouldn't put much thought into the private residence and no pedestrian access rejection reasons. These are likely either misclicks or people choosing a random rejection reason.
The main rejection reason you need to focus on is "other rejection criteria" as it means people did not believe your nominations met the criteria to become a wayspot.
Would you be able to tell us the titles and descriptions? I can’t really tell what the nominations are. Thanks.
I suggest making an appeal
I can't make an appeal unfortunately. I just have the "Done" button.
The first title was : Prudence Profondeur / Caution Depth
Description : Panneau informatif sur le danger du phénomène des bâches.
(Meaning: Informative panel on the dangers of the "sand hole" phenomenon)
The second title was : Cornet d'Amour (literally the name of the shop)
Description : Maître glacier artisanal historique dunkerquois, depuis 1896.
(Meaning: Dunkirk Historic Artisan Ice Cream Master, since 1896)
@Hikaru588-ING Do you have any advice on making my requests eligible?
Thank you all for your quick responses.
it looks like the tower where the warning sign is located, is already in the system. I doubt another pokestop would even show up, although I haven’t checked the cells yet. I’ll look around in a bit.
You're right, the tower is an Arena IG.
I don't understand how that makes the PokeStop ineligible. I can understand that he might not show up IG, but it fulfills the criteria.
@Babouzeuh-PGO for the ice cream shop your supporting information seems pretty light being only one sentence long. Especially for businesses you need to show reviewers why it specifically deserves to be a wayspot.
As for the sign you didn't include screenshots of your nomination but at a guess perhaps it was seen more of a simple warning sign rather than an educational/information sign.
Okay thank you, I'll try to re-apply and be more specific. I admit that the description is light.
For the sign, maybe, but tbh I have a hard time understanding when directional signs, welcome sign, nature sign are accepted.
I have again a contribution which came back rejected for duplicate whereas there are no duplicates.
It's really frustrating.
Here is a sculpture made in 2017 to commemorate Operation Dynamo.
It would be a PokeStop that is both artistic and historical, so the cultural criterion is present.
As you can see, it's next to a contemporary art park and a museum, easily accessible.
Is it because he appears in other Niantic games, even though he doesn't appear in PoGo ? (The red marker you can see is the same PokeStop I wanted to add)
yes, exactly. not all contributions that are accepted make it into Pokémon. Pokémon uses different inclusion rules than other games. Pokémon uses S2 cells and only one pokestop can appear in a cell.
Here is the cell picture for that area. Anything in purple cannot fit another pokestop.
As for the quality of the nomination, the shop’s website has a fascinating story about its origins. Using your own words, use the history in the nomination to make people realize it’sa great place to explore. And use those words “a great place to explore”
Wow okay my bad. Thanks I didn't realize that.
The story of the shop is quite famous here, I naively thought it would only be local Wayfarers who would vote. I have to admit, I'm new to contributing PokeStop.
Thank you all for your answers, I have a clear idea of the mistakes I made.
I made a video on the spacing requirements for both games, and show what can happen when two submissions are in the same S17 cell for Pokemon Go.
