How to photosphere and update the street view map?

So I’ve been searching around trying to find out how to photosphere, but have only found where to upload my photosphere into Google maps.
Does anyone know of an app on IOS for taking photospheres that’s easy and reliable?
I have found one app, Bubbli, but I’m not sure if I wanna try it or not, would appreciate if anyone who has used it could tell me what it’s like.
Note: The Google street view app is discontinued, I can’t get it.

Tecnically, you can still make a photosphere with the street view app, you just can't upload it through it, but you can save it in your phone with no problem at all.
Thanks for the reply but I don’t have the app and I have no way to get it, so I’m out of luck. If I did have the app it would be super easy 😂
You can still download the apk from Google pretty easily as it's been discontinued recently 🙂
I’m on IOS APKs don’t work for me (I think I’m not sure I’ve tried APKs in the past with no success)
I can’t use APKs
I’m going to give that Bubbli app a go and see if I can upload to Google street view, it might work depending on how the app shares it
The only known way for iOS devices is to use an app to make a 360 picture like shown in this twitter thread and then manually upload it via PC / Mac.

The app is for 360 pictures so it should work
@kawin240-ING have you tried the app? I’m not sure if I wanna use it based off all the terrible reviews
Can you make it with the app then save it and upload it from a PC?
I used to make a photosphere everytime I nominated something but haven't tried it since the app stopped working. Gotta get more into how to upload 360s now, I have no clue.
@NoctaD-PGO therea this app called panorama 360, not sure if it’s good or not
exactly that, but not with any official Google apps or websites. If you have the street view app, you can still at least make the photopshere, save it to your device and then upload on pc.
Someone on the wayfarer discussion discord shared this guide

i saw this on the Reddit I just can’t use the street view app since I never had it downloaded at any point
use one of the other apps mentioned then, you don't really have a choice on iOS despite the bad ratings
Oh okay I’ll look at the other apps really quick. Ok I’ll try using Hugin
Unfortunately I'm on Android where you can just install a modded version of Google Camera to get the Pixel Photosphere mode to your phone, it's a lot harder with iOS since you can't really do things there
I get 360 photos but I have no idea how to make them into videos and get them into the uploader
All of this is so confusing I’m not a computer person im not a file person
Yeah that was explained in the guide I linked: you can not produce 360 video files with a phone. You therefore cannot use any official Google Maps or Street View service to upload them, you need to use a 3rd party service on your computer like Pano2VR, look at the Publishing section in the guide, it's explained there
I’ve tried pano2vr wasn’t able to get the hang of it I’ll have to give it a go
Why did Google have to stop supporting SV 🤦🏻♂️ way less people are gonna submit photospheres with these many ways of uploading them, specially those that are not a computer person. Stoopid google.
I downloaded Pano2vr it seems like it might work I just need to take another panorama with panorama360
I published it and everything, it does say wait a couple hours, it’s been about 3 hours and it still hasn’t appeared
It also says they don’t have a place/map listing assigned when I start uploading and at the end of the upload I see this:

When I go into my contributions it says “unknown place” aswell. @kawin240-ING have you tried uploading through pano2vr and experienced this? How did you fix it
I have not tried yet as I'd have to go somehwere that has not yet received a photopshere. It sounds to me though that when you use Pano2VR, your file loses it's location data? You would need to manually add it but like I said, I have yet to try it out
Oh after like 15 hours it appeared on the map as a photosphere
