wayspot photo rejected - LOL
i wont waste a second to appeal this, because this whole community is just a joke after a new wayspot i had submitted several times while having fulfilled everything perfectly (thorough description, history, several great photos etc.) was rejected each time, just to see it now having been created by somebody else without any description or whatsoever, just a picture and a generic title.
just FYI about a photo update to an already existing wayspot:
1st photo is a screenshot of the 4 pictures of the wayspot from within pokemon go, this is how this building ***used to look like***
2nd photo, which i submitted, is how it looks now - the building is gone. one can even see the statue that hasnt been removed yet, and compare then vs. now
...and my submission of the 2nd photo has been rejected LOLOLOL 🤣 (my contribution management page doesnt list this entry at all, so i cannot even appeal it and hence i neither can see any reason for rejection)

What exactly were you trying to achieve?
Your photo has been rejected because it's ugly. If the main photo currently shows the statue and the status is still there, why do you need to add one showing that the building is gone?
I can see that you may want to change the title so that it only refers to the statue and not the building. If I'm reading it right, the title currently refers to both. You'll probably have to do a description edit as well to say something like "Statue at the former site of the Don Bosco Haus." People may or may not choose to accept that description edit but it gives context for why you're asking them to change the title to refer only to the statue.
I'm curious if this statue will continue to remain or if it will be removed.
ok, i understand what you mean, thanks for the explanation, but no, meanwhile the statue is gone as well, i took the photo about a month ago, the whole property has been purchased and a residential building will be built there instead. so RIP don bosco. i also edited the description accordingly, ie. really accordingly, in latin, “requiescat in pace, don bosco”, to please the saint with an adequate farewell in his own language. i accept that this edit was rejected, that was more of a joke most people don’t understand anyway.
but the picture of the statue resp. the building is basically now the same as what i posted, just without the statue, it’s just plain ground now. i just want to point out how ridiculous this system is where people not familiar with the location, from mostly hundreds or thousands of miles away, are deciding about wayspots they have never seen and don’t know anything about, and then such results happen that a picture of the status quo is rejected (or the example i mentioned above where i tried to have a wayspot created, with a thorough description etc., but it was rejected, only to see it now created by somebody else with just a title and no description at all). but will give it one last try with a certainly not prettier photo, since it is a plain ground (without the statue) now that is barely recognizable to be the same spot where the don bosco building and statue used to be until 2 months ago. or actually better not, i don’t want this spot to be removed, since it is close by and hence very useful for me; judging from the success rates here, it won’t be removed anyway even long after the new building has already been built 🤣
Your picture will be rejected again.
If you want it removed report it. If you don't want to report it stop submitting photo and description edits.
If the statue and the building are now gone, the POI should be removed. There is no justification for the POI still being live.
Have you ever heard "Report Invalid Pokestop" option and "Invalid Wayspot Appeal" section in this forum?
But atm it looks like the Statue is still there, hence leave the POI alone... It will likely get removed, then is when it should be reported for removal.
Please read the whole thread. OP updated us that the statue is now gone. Nothing is left in this spot.
My bad. Not sure how I missed that post.
Yeah simple removal.
Ok
