How many reviews daily?

How many reviews should I be doing daily if I want fast upgrades? How many do you do daily and how many upgrades do you get weekly? I’m on the verge of my first upgrade and just 5% away from it, should I worry about using it too fast or can I get a new one soon?

If you do maybe 50 a day or more depending on how much time you have and if you’re good at reviewing then you should get points fast. Also if there is a nomination you really want to get through and know it will have a high change of going through then don’t hesitate to use an upgrade.
You get an upgrade for every 100 agreements (accepted+rejected+duplicated plus title/description edits plus photo reviews).
At the moment, I do around 50 reviews per day, which takes me 25-30 minutes, and get an upgrade for every 150-160 reviews.
I use my upgrades for areas with a months-long backlog of nominations, but not for areas where nominations are decided in a couple of weeks.
I don’t have much time to do reviewing (too distracted by this forum 🤪)
I also take my time looking at each even if my initial impression is that it is straightforward.
So I do 2 or 3 when I have 5/10 mins to spare.
It slowly adds up.
@CiscoPlayz00-PGO in the settings area of the wayfarer site scroll down and toggle the automatically apply an upgrade off. If you don’t it will apply it to the oldest.
You can then select which nomination you want to apply it to.
Double check that there is nothing at that site prior to upgrading - someone else may have also submitted. - as you don’t want to waste it.
I was surprised to see that people are trying to review fast in order to get fast upgrades. I thought it was about making the games better with this as opposed to playing them to advance and have fun.
The most effective way to regularly earn upgrades is to just be consistent about reviewing. If you're just starting out, it will take some time to build up a "backlog" of reviews you've completed that will over time (hopefully) turn into agreements later.
You can review in large bursts and then coast, for example in the past I've done 5-10k reviews in a month and then stopped reviewing for a month or two afterwards. But it is much more feasible and maintainable to review a bit each day. Start with what you're comfortable with say 10 or 20 a day and then increase it as you improve at reviewing and it goes a bit faster. A lot of folks end up at 50-100 reviews a day and any more than that is probably a larger time investment than you'll want to make.
In the long run, you can generally count on 1/3 to 1/2 of reviews you complete finishing review with 1-2 weeks. This is a rough estimate and of course the areas you review will have a big impact on this. The next 1/3 or so should finish within a month. Once you get rolling with 100 a day for a few weeks this will mean earning about 1 upgrade a day.
In closing, remember that everything about this process is generally slow and steady. If you want to earn upgrades, you'll have to put in sustained effort and keep at it and it won't be quick when you're first starting.
Oh okay this is a great explanation, I’ve just earned my first upgrade now and used it on a great nomination, a pavilion, and it hasn’t gone into voting yet? Any idea when it will?
@CiscoPlayz00-PGO Generally within a few days.
