Account reset

My account got reset and now I am not able to see my pokestop nominations, and I lost all my review points.
It got deleted when Ingress account was deleted. But this should not have affected my Wayfarer account.
Support told me they are looking in to it, but it has been over a month. I dont think they are gonna do anything about it..
Has anyone had anyone had the same issue as me?

Lots of people on here have posted about it. It's a well known issue. Feel free to add your name to the threads about it in the bug report section.

The wacyfarer Ambassadors continue to raise this issue.
Congratulations! Welcome to our illustrious club of reset accounts! Many of us have been waiting 1-2 years (perhaps more) for a resolution to this.
This is the current expected behavior resulting in an account deletion request from our other games.
We are working with the game team to make this behavior clearer in the help center pages explaining the impacts of account deletion request.
Currently, if you do not want your Wayfarer stats to be reset, do not request account deletion for any game related to your Niantic ID.
What a horrible system to have intentionally or more likely unintentionally implemented.
So best practice is not to make accounts for any new Niantic games. Got it.
Best practice is to keep each game separate and don’t link them.
It's a great way to implement Niantic social, don't play any other game or keep separate accounts for each one because you don't know how we might mess up.
then what was the point of having a niantic id across all games?
I really hate to be rude, but I am going on record that this is the one of the worst decisions Niantic has ever made. It is decisions like this that make me ask myself, "Why am I putting so much work and energy into a game from a developer that makes such collossially bad decisions?" Every day I come closer to the answer being, "It's a waste of my time and I should quit."

If I wasn't an ambassador, I may have already quit playing all Niantic games this Spring as the bad decisions have piled up on each other.

Rather than doing this, you should be working on making it so that this is not what happens. It is quite frankly unacceptable that it functions the way it currently does.
If I wanted my Ingress account deleting (I don't, it's just a "what if" scenario), then that's literally all I want deleting. I don't want my Wayfarer account affected. I don't want my Pokémon Go account affected. I don't want my Pikmin Bloom account affected.
If a Pokémon Go player reaches level 37 and passes the Wayfarer test, they don't unlock the ability to use Wayfarer through Ingress if they were not yet level 10, nor would they earn any Ingress related rewards through any Wayfarer challenges. So you clearly see the accounts as separate by those standards. Therefore you should be fully able to keep that separation when it comes to deletion of a specific game account.

Ignoring the fact that someone had their account deleted and Niantic's laughable attempt at damage control by blaming the players it does mean the issues with account linking and deletion will be a top priority now...
Wow... okay... This feels illegal and like... So you're holding our data for ransom, because if I didn't want data on a certain game to exist, I have to choose to nuke EVERYTHING or let you keep my data. That's smells like a lawsuit.
Not to mention all the people who are have lost their wayfarer, and now other games because of your lack of communication on this BUG that has now become an undocumented FEATURE???!??? We demand you restore those peoples accounts who have requested it.

this problem occurs because everything is linked into a third party auth, that is why and has been since the beggining, the only difference now appears to be your wayfarer is reseted insteand of banned, so long ago i mentioned this is a problem and will become very troublesome in the future but the white knights here reclaimed me that is users fault for asking their accounts to be deleted or be banned for whatever reason

I've only ever seen people question Niantic on how this functions not blame the users.
That is new thing, i am talking about the past especially all the -ING guys used to get so mad because i pointed the obvious things like this and some other topics
So is absolutely no news here about this guy getting his wayfarer account rekt, and i repeat, I complained about this kind of stuff in the past not because of me but because of others and all the -ING people used to spam disagree on me and just literally said ''its users fault for deleting account or ban or change email or wtv'' and here are now years after...i wonder if those ING white knights still around or just being silent
But i dont think there is a solution for this, hence the topic creator lost their wayfarer stats, it will require effort for an enginner to manually enter in the system and manually check the stats in the dumpster and manually recover them and manually link them into an auth from google/tpc/facebook/wtv and i bet they dont pay anybody for do that, hence bye stats
That would have been a mistake for me. I started reviewing when Wayfarer opened to Level 40 PGO players. I hadn't really gotten into playing Ingress at that point, but I still had a linked level 3 account.
About half a year later, I started playing Ingress seriously, and all of those Wayfarer agreements helped me hit onyx on my Recon badge, which helped with my badge requirements as I leveled up. There was a tangible gameplay benefit for me to keep my accounts linked.
That said, I don't plan on deleting accounts from either game, so it shouldn't be something for me to worry about.
